dayday Posted 5 August 2015 Share Posted 5 August 2015 He has made it pretty clear now that he has no intention of coming to play for Leicester, so this pursuit should be stopped. Bayer04 are not going to increase their offer as they think Inter will give in and accept their much lower offer.Inter will indeed drop their budgie smugglers when we withdraw. When a player under contract makes it clear he wants to move on, as far as I aware, the player normally gets his wish. This is no different ? Forcing anyone to come and play for a team that he does not want to play for, is unlikely to benefit either party. May be this whole scenario is being incorrectly reported and since the bogus tweets have been banned, this is now very boring. There are plenty of other fish in the sea I am surprised that we have not been to talk to the guy and tell him what Leicester City are all about and our ambitions,if we did that and he still doesn't want to sign, then we should just pull out. An Away Move Posted 5 August 2015 Share Posted 5 August 2015 It comes down to this: Aranguiz's feelings vs the financial reality of his club and third party owners set to lose out on a substantial amount of money (unless BL match our bid). I have a feeling he'll end up going where he's 'advised' to go. Money talks.
whitlock Posted 5 August 2015 Share Posted 5 August 2015 Third kit. They love a tease I think this season, there are definitely new guys behind the twitter posts. You're probably right about the kit. I'm sure any player signings would have come to light before the club releases it. It could be the announcement of the Italian play boy

what? Posted 5 August 2015 Share Posted 5 August 2015 We'll get him. BL won't up their bid. Unless a new club swoops in and matches ours then the boy will blink before the end of the widow and agree to come. Just hope they remember to untie his ankles and wrists before his first game. davieG Posted 5 August 2015 Share Posted 5 August 2015 BL and Aranguiz are just waiting for us to drop our interest, we're waiting for Aranguiz to panic that he'll end up in no man's land, Inter are waiting for BL to drop out. It's all classic brinkmanship and I'm sure both the owners of all three clubs are well versed and practised in it. So it could go to the wire. Does Germany's transfer window close the same time as ours?

My ex-girlfriend's flatmate works in one and knows our owners 'well'; it's their job to get to know the big spenders by name when they come in. She probably had to practice pronunciation too! mozartfox Posted 5 August 2015 Share Posted 5 August 2015 May be Bayer04 are waiting for the CL draw later this week? If they draw say Racing Club Malta (or Celtic if they go through) they may see a mountain of cash on the horizon for reaching the Group stages, and cough up? Gerard Posted 5 August 2015 Share Posted 5 August 2015 The arrogance of BL is amazing saying our bid is worthless because the player doesn't want to come here. Well their bid is just as worthless if the seller doesn't agree to the price. It's not for them to dictate price. I really hope Inter and Leicester stay strong and resolute in this. I hope that BL don't end up getting their way because Aranguiz and BL hold their ground and the Brazilians fold. At this moment in time I'd like to see a bigger club than BL come in and whack a €15m bid in.
