Can't be because they are big names, I'd never heard of Kante before July!

Must be that they are foreigners.

That is besides the point I was making, in fact it even proves my point even further. People will happily go for a player from a foreign league who has played in "Europe" (even if it's for a completely unsuccessful European team like Caen) over our players. Who despite playing well in the first two games of this season, looking solid at the start and end of last season (before we tinkered) will never be accepted as good enough by some.

The point I was making, and looking at lots of people's over reactions to my posts, maybe I didn't put it across as successfully as I had hoped. Was that I would prefer for "our players" I.e. Drinky, James, Albrighton, Schlupp (I know has foreign roots), Vardy etc to be allowed to continue their fantastic uprise and be given the chance to prove theMSelves in this league. If they are not successful this season at pushing us on from last term, then fair enough buy better, but after they have worked so hard to get us here, the least they deserve is the opportunity to show what they can do this season, without being replaced or shipped out.

As for the snide comment regarding Nuge. He fits into the statement above, I honestly felt like he deserved another season after settling into the prem. I just think we owed him that, sentiment just isn't around anymore, I know that, just seems a little unfair. Admittedly Okazaki has had a flying start, long may it continue.

Proper 2 footed player and equally good with both!

I thought it was against the rules for City to have decent or top class players

Seems to me, leaving the obvious merits of Drinky (welcome back Danny!) & Kingy to one side, that the real genius of Cambiasso was his game management. Maybe, just maybe, Rudkin, Walsh, Ranieri et al think Inler can bring that quality to us?

I don't know whether Inler would bring that, but I'm sure it's what the scouts were looking for. Let's hope he does.

Not a dig mate but where does this term 'game management' come from? I keep hearing it more and more these days. Seem to remember Pearson using it frequently last season.

Has tomorrow afternoon written all over it.

If so chaps, then we really do need to get our skates on to nudge this thread over 100 pages.

If he is flying EasyJet that should at least buy us a few extra hours. As a contingent measure, may be the Plane spotters can provide up dates on the activities of the Air-force1 and the Chopper?

Well I'm obviously the only one who's never heard of him. I know how we feel about YouTube videos, but bloody hell, he can't half ping it!

I thought (still think) he was taking us for a ride and thought he can feck off. But now, I wouldn't say no.
