les-tah Posted 17 August 2015 Posted 17 August 2015 its ridiculous how hes apparently refusing to sign unless this page reaches 100.
LCCFox96 Posted 17 August 2015 Posted 17 August 2015 Hopefully this is done today or tomorrow. Been in the pipeline for weeks and looks to be drawing to a close. This would complete our CM options for the season and at a cheap price too.
HighPeakFox Posted 17 August 2015 Posted 17 August 2015 Nothing to add, but we all need to contribute to getting to the century
Grey Fox Posted 17 August 2015 Posted 17 August 2015 According to reports in the Italian media, Leicester City will complete the signing of Napoli star Gokhan Inler today. The Premier League side have been in talks with the player's agent in the past few weeks and an agreement has been made with the Swiss international to head to England during this transfer window. TMW have revealed this morning Inler will officially be announced as a Leicester City player in the coming hours. This weekend his agent has been going through the finer details of the move and the midfielder will sign his three year contract later on today. This will come as relief to the English club after Bundesliga side Schalke tried to hijack the deal last week. Inler travelled to England last week to have his medial ahead of his proposed move to Leicester City. Prior to the player arriving in England Napoli had agreed to sell the Swiss national to Leicester City for a fee in the region of €7m plus bonuses. The Serie A club had a change of management when Rafa Benitez recently joined Real Madrid and the player seemed to be surplus to requirements at the club. Inler will bring much needed experience to the Leicester City midfield after Esteban Cambiasso left the club last month. http://sportwitness.ning.com/forum/topics/leicester-city-to-complete-signing-of-international-ace-today Smells like bullsh*t to me. If he had it would have been leaked on here by now.
DB11 Posted 17 August 2015 Posted 17 August 2015 Seems to have an eye for goal from long range. Struggling to remember the last consistent long range striker of a ball that we had ?? Tempted to say Andy Peake!!! There must have been someone since ?? Joey Gudjonsson?
weller54 Posted 17 August 2015 Posted 17 August 2015 Smells like bullsh*t to me. If he had it would have been leaked on here by now. O no.. He hasn't got a prostate problem has he???
Samilktray Posted 17 August 2015 Posted 17 August 2015 I hope to god he wears the number 88 here, we are seriously lacking in exotic continental squad numbers.
Haydos Posted 17 August 2015 Posted 17 August 2015 Not a dig mate but where does this term 'game management' come from? I keep hearing it more and more these days. Seem to remember Pearson using it frequently last season. Knowing when to do what as a playmaker and a leader during the game. A central midfielder is obviously a key position in the team so having good game management means that they can control the team better. I would say this includes tempo, when to push more men forward/hold them back, when to counter or when to slow play down, when to make sure we retain possession to take the sting out of a wave of attacks. Also communicating and making sure the team is cohesive.
norwichfox Posted 17 August 2015 Posted 17 August 2015 He'll have his Leicester Strip hanging on a peg in the dressing room at Norwich's Colney Academy for the under 21 game against Norwich today. Been trying to ring to see if it's behind closed doors....no bloody answer, I'll go in hope.
Finnegan Posted 17 August 2015 Posted 17 August 2015 I hope to god he wears the number 88 here, we are seriously lacking in exotic continental squad numbers. I don't think he can, I think they're capped in England. Kramaric took the highest number he could because he wanted ninety something, I think. I remember a quote at the time saying he wasn't allowed his Reijka number.
lcfcsnow Posted 17 August 2015 Posted 17 August 2015 I hope to god he wears the number 88 here, we are seriously lacking in exotic continental squad numbers. Kramaric wanted 91 but was refused, some silly rule where 45 is the highest number any player can have, even though Swansea had two players wearing numbers into their 50s last season, kind of defeats it.
Grey Fox Posted 17 August 2015 Posted 17 August 2015 Its about to happen!! I've lost count how many times I have seen that written in this thread. I'll believe it when I see photo evidence he's in the UK. (Real not photoshopped :-))

How come Jose Angel Pozo can have #78 then? Guess we need to bribe FA
