Donut Posted 24 August 2015 Posted 24 August 2015 You'll never remember players if they never actually played for us. That guy Bassett signed wasnt Stig Inge Bjornebye?
sdb Posted 24 August 2015 Posted 24 August 2015 To be fair we didn't exactly ruin Matt Jones, that was an unfortunate injury. I assume Stephen Hughes was just found out (I was so excited when he arrived for £100k) or maybe he wasn't helped bu the team he was in! Gareth "floaty corners" Williams! Do you remember when Forest were going ape, demanding £3m when it went to tribunal, ended up with £500k. I was also excited as a 14 year old when Nathan Blake signed. David Connolly, Nathan Blake, James Scowcroft, Dion Dublin. How could we NOT go up in 2004/05. We even had Kevin Pressman and Martin Keown at the back Haha. I chose Leic Uni at the start of the 2004 season so I could watch us for the next 3 years, starting with us destroying The Championship... No joke.
Guest Manini Posted 24 August 2015 Posted 24 August 2015 Patrick Gerrbrand Legend! Do you remember the horrible sock tie things the players used to wear? With the players name and number on. I had a pair of Gerrbrand's that he gave to me, think it was after a match against Wigan or Ipswich haha. They're still in a drawer at home
smudger63 Posted 24 August 2015 Posted 24 August 2015 Jimmy Quinn Oh yeah, Jimmy Quinn, the centre forward signed by Pleat after he had scored shit loads of goals the season before, for Swindon i think it was. Pleat being the football genius, that he thinks he is, in his own mind that is, then thought it would be a good idea to play him out wide for us. Poor bloke was over 6 foot and probably had less pace than Steve Howard, and unsurprisingly was completely useless out wide.
Tuna Posted 24 August 2015 Posted 24 August 2015 I bet he doesent' remember he played here! https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Marco_Ferreira Seriously though does anyone remember this dude?

Vlad the Fox Posted 24 August 2015 Posted 24 August 2015 Im sure I read somewhere that this poor chap passed away in a car accident last year? Typed his name on Google and a Facebook link came up. He last posted on Facebook only a month ago, that I can see, so definitely not dead. Someone registered and posted on here last year and claimed he'd died in a car crash but it turned out to be bullshit the next day. There is a Sergio hellings still alive thread or something similar in here somewhere.

Koke Posted 24 August 2015 Posted 24 August 2015 That Sunderland chap who nearly died at Forest. Clarke. Andy Johnson. We signed from West Brom. God, he was woeful.
Evesdad Posted 24 August 2015 Posted 24 August 2015 Just look at his squad... https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2006%E2%80%9307_Leicester_City_F.C._season#Squad Jesus. Christ that made me want to top myself reading that!
The Horse's Mouth Posted 24 August 2015 Posted 24 August 2015 honestly can remember quite a few, but barely remember any keepers until Weale. Fulop and Henderson are the only ones that spring to mind.
