Juvenile Posted 14 September 2015 Posted 14 September 2015 My 2 options would be Kante and Drinkwater in the middle with Mahrez just behind Vardy, or playing a 352 with Kante Inler and Drinkwater. Can't see Ranieri going with 3 at the back against Stoke though
Haydos Posted 14 September 2015 Posted 14 September 2015 Ridiculous pace, stamina and overall energy. Like others have said he's really indicative of the way we play but he's not just limited to his tackling and work rate, great to watch in a City shirt.
psychonaut Posted 14 September 2015 Posted 14 September 2015 Jesus christ. Just imagine his stats if he played 90 minutes in every game so far *_* The metrics are per 90 minutes so his stats are not at a disadvantage. But yeah incredible completely breaks up play and looks to attack quickly once possession is turned over. Suits our style perfectly.
Gerard Posted 14 September 2015 Posted 14 September 2015 Out of all the signings we made this season he was the one I wanted most. Exactly the sort of profile we should be looking for, young and the best player at a smaller club but in a proven league. If you sign players with this profile they could be anything. We already know what we're buying when we buy a Huth, Inler, Fuchs, Okazaki, etc. I was hoping we would sign Martial from Monaco for about £20m but he went to Man Utd for silly money eventually. I think in Schlupp, Kante and Mahrez we have three players who will be capable of playing for anyone when they hit their peak, I just hope it's with us and we get a few more rough diamonds to add to our collection.
Mint_Fox Posted 14 September 2015 Posted 14 September 2015 This guy looks like a real star. Reminds me of Pontus Kaamark never loses a tackle.
Jonezy Posted 14 September 2015 Posted 14 September 2015 Serious Makele style play from Kanté. Love the way he intercept the ball and quickly play a positive pass. He was the guy giving Mahrez the ball in the play up to the 2nd and 3rd goal, I think. Excited to see him play more...
JonnyBoy Posted 14 September 2015 Posted 14 September 2015 Don't think I have seen a thread with so many positive comments about a player we have signed! What a time to be a leicester fan
filbertstreet Posted 14 September 2015 Posted 14 September 2015 Don't think I have seen a thread with so many positive comments about a player we have signed! What a time to be a leicester fan fine, he's shit then not really
fuchsntf Posted 14 September 2015 Posted 14 September 2015 He would be, my first name on the teamsheet. I have said it before, against Stoke both he and Inler should play, with Drinkwater.
STEFFIFI Posted 23 September 2015 Posted 23 September 2015 So, are you still sceptic about him, now??? Know we miss him a lot, even in game... But we are very happy to see he becomes a star among you and maybe among PL world (if Ranieri decides to make him at the start!!!) Keep on like this, because you have a ****ing good team
Wymsey Posted 23 September 2015 Posted 23 September 2015 Without Kante, the midfield would've gotten more over-run and put more pressure on the CB's. Our most effective CM currently and a great bargain.
FoxinNotts Posted 23 September 2015 Posted 23 September 2015 He lost the ball whilst surging forward last night. The on the floor recover he performed was unreal. Great start to his city career.
Babylon Posted 23 September 2015 Posted 23 September 2015 Has a new player ever been so universally liked?
Alf Bentley Posted 23 September 2015 Posted 23 September 2015 Has a new player ever been so universally liked? Chris Wood was pretty popular after scoring about a goal a game for his first couple of months. That should encourage a bit of caution. Kante does look an outstanding acquisition so far, though.
ScouseFox Posted 23 September 2015 Posted 23 September 2015 Has a new player ever been so universally liked? esteban?
filbertstreet Posted 23 September 2015 Posted 23 September 2015 esteban? no that bastard broke my heart
Babylon Posted 23 September 2015 Posted 23 September 2015 esteban? Nah... a group always had their knives out for him.
Lambert09 Posted 23 September 2015 Posted 23 September 2015 Has a new player ever been so universally liked? there was a huge love in for Sol Bamba in his first month.
ealingfox Posted 23 September 2015 Posted 23 September 2015 Said after Stoke I'd be surprised if we played many more minutes this season without him on the pitch. Superb player.
Dan Posted 23 September 2015 Posted 23 September 2015 This bloke is absolutely ridiculous. It's not even like the good point about his game is something that is likely to fluctuate - he's got Vardy-like stamina, he's extremely positive and his tackling is literally world class standard. I cannot see any way he isn't going to go on to be a massive player for us.
Weller in Tights Posted 23 September 2015 Posted 23 September 2015 Top player, love his energy, his tackling and his enthusiasm. Must be the 1st on the team sheet for central midfield.
