Guest Posted 16 September 2015 Posted 16 September 2015 http://www.leicestermercury.co.uk/Transfer-news-Leicester-City-midfielder-Dean/story-27801584-detail/story.html Loads of teams enquiring including Sheff Utd. Bury said to be interested too. Should he go? I think so. We've got more than enough at the moment with Kante, Inler, Drinkwater and the Invisible man.. with James getting closer to coming back. Not sure where he'd fit in, he's 6th choice CM I think.
Fox42 Posted 16 September 2015 Posted 16 September 2015 Send him to a mid-table championship club. Happy days. I still think he has more to offer, mind.
AyewJoking Posted 16 September 2015 Posted 16 September 2015 Tim Sherwood could use him, I noticed he was a bit short for midfielders on Sunday.
Guest Posted 16 September 2015 Posted 16 September 2015 Send him to a mid-table championship club. Happy days. I still think he has more to offer, mind. think anyone at that level would want him? After all we didn't play him much in Championship and he's 2 years older now.
Ric Flair Posted 16 September 2015 Posted 16 September 2015 Bound to go and team up with Adkins again.
Gerard Posted 16 September 2015 Posted 16 September 2015 He has to go. We have four players ahead of him and Matty James back in light training. He'll do well to get on the bench at some point this season let alone any game time. It's best for all concerned.
Wymsey Posted 16 September 2015 Posted 16 September 2015 Whereever he goes, he'll give his all as he seems to have that type of personality and won't feel resentful against us.
Father Ted Posted 16 September 2015 Posted 16 September 2015 I think he will go within the next couple weeks with James seemingly creeping back to fitness. Could certainly do a job at the lower end of the Championship on a weekly basis. He offers so much to a squad but at this level or top half Championship not quite a regular starter.
ScouseFox Posted 16 September 2015 Posted 16 September 2015 he'll get a champ club easy id think. might not be first name on their team sheet every week but should have no problem getting in most championship 18s.
Tuna Posted 16 September 2015 Posted 16 September 2015 Bury interested? Gooness me that's bound to depress him if its true. Deserves championship.
Finn Claw II Posted 17 September 2015 Posted 17 September 2015 Let him go if he wants the game time. Decent Pro hasn't moaned when sitting on the bench or not even making that
Devonfox1884 Posted 17 September 2015 Posted 17 September 2015 Good pro, nothing but good words for him. Mid-championship is probably his level now, though I wouldn't be surprised to see him reunite with Atkins.
NewquayFox Posted 17 September 2015 Posted 17 September 2015 Heard he was going Sheffield United about a month ago but must be happening now, decent player and always got stuck in.... Up the City.....
ALC Fox Posted 17 September 2015 Posted 17 September 2015 He really stepped up and did a job for us early last season. He was a major part of our good start. I'll be sad to see him go but he's a squad player at best really. Top pro and will do well in the Championship. League One is too low, surely.
Captain... Posted 17 September 2015 Posted 17 September 2015 Fair play if he goes, but I would keep a recall option on him, we will hopefully have a long old season with 2 good cup runs and with so many internationals too we shouldn't risk leaving ourselves short so Hammond can dick about in the lower leagues

As a Brighton fan I'd agree with that. He wouldn't get in our team at the moment but I could see him doing a decent job for a Bolton, Wednesday or Charlton

ThingsCouldGetMessi Posted 17 September 2015 Posted 17 September 2015 Probably the best for both parties that he go's out on loan. Hammond is not good enough to play for us anymore (if he was in the 1st place) and he needs to be playing games at the end of his career.

Hammond is not good enough to play for us anymore (if he was in the 1st place) and he needs to be playing games at the end of his career. Harsh. Hammond was very effective in closing out games from the bench and was reliable and steady when called upon to start. That and a model pro to boot. Think his signing was a good bit of business by the club, even if he has now served his purpose within the match day squads.
Wymsey Posted 18 September 2015 Posted 18 September 2015 Can just see him going to Brighton, their midfield seems to be inconsistent despite their excellent start. Great influencer and rarely has had a poor game. Unsure as to why some think he can't grasp top Championship half.

UpTheLeagueFox Posted 24 September 2015 Posted 24 September 2015 Wasn't overly chuffed at missing out on Tuesday but he's a terrific professional and wouldn't kick up a major fuss; he's moved the family up from down south this summer and looks like he'll be off on loan soon. A number of clubs are interested in him.
