SemperEadem Posted 20 October 2015 Posted 20 October 2015 Good signing for United. Solid pro who does his role well.
Corky Posted 20 October 2015 Posted 20 October 2015 He must have one of the highest games to points ratios in the club's history.
The Quick Brown Fox Posted 20 October 2015 Posted 20 October 2015 It will be tomorrow. Made me laugh more than it should have.
Guest glasgowfox Posted 20 October 2015 Posted 20 October 2015 Feel sorry for Deano as Sheffield Utd fans don't really know much about football. I am in a pub in Sheffield and they are playing Fleetwood tonight...I said to one of their fans...at least Jamie Vardy doesn't play for them anymore...his reply was no he plays for Derby!! Priceless... I told him he plays for Leicester and he told me I was wrong!!
Stevosevic Posted 20 October 2015 Posted 20 October 2015 Having a medical. He's playing right now....
ealingfox Posted 20 October 2015 Posted 20 October 2015 Good signing for them. Best of luck to him, decent asset and experienced pro. Was a useful signing for us.
Mark Posted 21 October 2015 Posted 21 October 2015 I hope he's been sent to do a scouting job on Che Adams, looked quality whenever I've seen him and he's from Leicester.

Having a great season is Che. Seen him in Leicester mcDonalds a good few times at 3 or 4 in the morning. Not the sharpest tool in the box but has real raw talent.
davieG Posted 23 May 2016 Posted 23 May 2016 Hammond leaves Leicester City - and is put on transfer list at new club By Mercury_Sport | Posted: May 23, 2016 Dean Hammond in action for Leicester City against Bury Comments (0) Dean Hammond has now officially left Leicester City - and finds himself on the transfer list at his new club almost immediately. The 33-year-old midfielder was on loan at Sheffield United for most of last season during what was the last year of his contract with City. As part of that loan deal, Hammond was able to activate a clause that gave him a further 12-month contract when the loan period expired. The deal had been agreed with the then-manager Nigel Adkins who, after a disappointing season, was sacked by the Yorkshire club. The Blades' new boss Chris Wilder, who had previously been manager at promotion-winning Northampton, then immediately embarked on a rebuilding programme at his new outfit. One of his first jobs was to release Hammond. However, it was then pointed out that Hammond had a 12-month contract and so now the veteran midfielder has been put on the transfer list instead. Hammond's last game for City was in the Capital One Cup victory at Bury back in August last season. Soar Fox Posted 23 May 2016 Posted 23 May 2016 Quite unlucky for Hammond if that's true. Though I suppose at least he has the comfort knowing he will at least get a wage for the next 12 months.
ScouseFox Posted 23 May 2016 Posted 23 May 2016 seems a decent pro, played a part in what were two of the better recent years supporting us (until this one, of course). deeeanooooo
MrSpaM Posted 23 May 2016 Posted 23 May 2016 Baffled as to why they wouldn't just keep hold of him He's easily good enough to be playing in League 1 next season Edit : Just had a look at the Blades forum, and they seem pretty keen to get rid. Had a shocker second half of the season apparently
kingcarr21 Posted 23 May 2016 Posted 23 May 2016 Never really did anything wrong for us. Wasn't an amazing player but he was solid and got the basics right. Im sure he would always get a nice reception from Leicester fans. Hopefully he manages to get some more playing time before he hangs his boots up.
Sol thewall Bamba Posted 23 May 2016 Posted 23 May 2016 When we were shit, we had the best points return per game with him in the side. Played his part in the 5-3 win over United and helped us make sure we dominated the Championship in 2014. Cheers Deano!
Wymsey Posted 23 May 2016 Posted 23 May 2016 Decent player for us, and also a nice personality off-the-field as well.
ImBlue Posted 23 May 2016 Posted 23 May 2016 From earning a premier league deal to transfer listed in league one in one year That's some fall.
howlinmadmurfdoc Posted 23 May 2016 Posted 23 May 2016 Could've done with him for the champions league.
Danizen Posted 23 May 2016 Posted 23 May 2016 That clause makes no sense whatsoever. Especially for a League 1 club that should be watching every penny. Why didn't they have it so that it was the club's decision to keep him or not?
Vicki Vixen Posted 23 May 2016 Posted 23 May 2016 That clause makes no sense whatsoever. Especially for a League 1 club that should be watching every penny. Why didn't they have it so that it was the club's decision to keep him or not? Sounds like Hammond was taking some sage advice from GTF about contract extension clauses
UpTheLeagueFox Posted 24 May 2016 Posted 24 May 2016 Decent player for us, and also a nice personality off-the-field as well. Always rated him. Good pro. Having spent a bit of time with him this season, I can tell you he is genuinely a top bloke. Family settled in Leicestershire now. Wish him well.
