Noticed in Telegraph Austin was top target yesterday. Tbh I wouldn't be surprised at all if we was in for him. He's just the type of player we need currently.

katieakita Posted 3 January 2016 Posted 3 January 2016 Austin scored plenty in a very poor side last season so the fact is he is a proven premier league goalscorer and would be an option in a game like yesterday when the bus has been parked, we have players who can cross a ball and he is good in the air. If the club are in for this guy we would have done our homework on him and have been linked with him for a long time so if the club think he fits the bill why not.

LCFC95 Posted 3 January 2016 Posted 3 January 2016 Have been against the potential signing of Austin but after watching Ulloa this season I think I'd be happy if we sold him and got Austin as his replacement. Though I can't see us buying Austin and another striker/no 10 in January, first team is priority then we can add strength in depth.

Our sports science team would know the best course of action with Austin. I would even look at Naismith. I reckon he would suit our game quite well.
