Im a watford fan and i (and many other fans i know) have agreat deal of respect for you boys. You ve got a good team, you play good football and you ve done it the right way. We know you re favourites on saturday and you ve got an awesome striker in Vardy who is on fire...so we are happy to get anything out of the game. We ve started alright, which is a massive relief, but we know there is still along way to go, so are still grateful for points. The reason im writing is that some of the posts on here are ridiculous! Ok...some posts are realistic, reasonable and measured...but so many of you think you re Real Madrid and unstoppable! You re doin well...but anything can happen still, its a long old season. Newcastle, Swansea, stoke and West Ham all thought they would sweep little old watford aside too. Just think some of you should try bein a little more humble, more cautious and perhaps not count your chickens before they hatch. Im not just talking about saturdays result, im talking about how you do in the premier league in general. Some of you are starting to sound like Liverpool or Arsenal fans. we had the same last year. get over it. bournemouth and norwich aside everyone thinks they'll beat you because you've just been promoted, it's not rocket science to work that out. we're third in the league, have the best form in the league over the last 7 months and have only lost twice (both to the league leaders) in 7 months. no offence but in what world did you expect to see a thread on our forum saying how scared we were about playing a newly promoted team? you're a little fish in a big pond, just enjoy it and enjoy getting one over teams like us who cast you aside. but don't expect anyone to not go into home games against you thinking they won't win.

Of course there are going to be some slightly deluded fans, there are on every forum. That being said, the same can be said for the Watford forums, which are just as bad, if not worse. Some of us may be called over-confident (which a few are, granted), but at least we have good reason to be. You have just as many fans who are just as condfident that you'll beat us, and that's as a team who are 8 places lower. If they're that sure now, then how cocky would they be if the roles were reversed? If you want to call out ridiculous fans, you should probably try your own forums first! You may pull of a shock victory and beat us, but we will be favourites, and rightly so.

But mind you that's fairly typical of the forum as a whole, and probably football forums as a whole. You lot checking each others forums out and then writing comments about how bad you both are seriously need to get out more... Watford have started incredibly well and look like a team that's hard to break down. As has been said, anyone thinking this will be a pushover needs a reality check. That said as we are at home I'm hoping for the 3 points!

Confidence is sky high and there is a reason for it, if we had one won 1 in 11 and we were all confident then you would be right with your comments, but you're not. Don't worry about what we will be feeling come 6 on sat worry more about staying in the league this season. Have fun on Saturday and enjoy your purple patch whilst it lasts, like we are.

Seriously now enjoy the game and enjoy the rest of the season it's a crazy league with a lot of ups and downs, you'll be in the mix at the bottom in May but you'll survive there are worse teams in the league surprisingly
