Watford The Golden Boys... Up next...

Gotsa be goals in this game, but then again, a lot of people said the same about the Palace game.

I wouldn't say so actually, Watford are a well drilled defensive team, with a good counter attack. But Ighalo and Vardy are almost guaranteed a goal mind

Does Dyer get near there team / squad? Should get a decent reception if he is in the squad.

He's not been near their squad this year.

tbf watford have one of the better defences and worst attacks in the league. only 2 of their 11 games have been over 2.5 and only 3 times have both teams scored. if someone can make sure ighalo doesn't have ten yards of space in our box then they've only scored 3 goals between their whole team, in 11 games.

Can't we have one of those re-enactment thingies where conrad logan could boot the ball at filbert's head and it bounce off into the back of the net.

It's too bad Kevin Phillips has left. We could've got him to re-enact his penalty.

Roger east is the ref...

As he had any of our games this season?

Last match of ours he reffed was the 2-0 win over Southampton at the end of last season.

The day we start worrying about Watford is the day we should give up. Let's look at some of the away games we have played so far this season. We have beaten West Ham, Norwich, Wba, we have drawn with Stoke, Bournemouth and Southampton. At home

We have beaten Sunderland, Villa, Palace drawn with Spurs lost to Arsenal but scored twice against them.

They are doing well for a newly promoted side. However, we are playing well and we certainly have got nothing to fear from these.

I believe we will win this comfortably 3 1. Vardy with two and Albrighton with the other assists by Mahrez.

He's been on the bench a few times. Never gets on mind.

I actually think it's up with there with our most difficult game of the season so far.

We will be out and out favourites on paper but Watford actually have a competent defence and a striker, Ighalo, with the attributes to give our back line a nightmare.

It could quite easily end up 0-0

I see your point, but you need to look at how we play and see that Watford's deep-sitting defensive style will not suit our counter-attacking game. Especially with them being the away team, and underdogs as a smaller and newly promoted team.

They also have a useful and lively strike partnership and could trouble our slowish defenders.

We struggled to beat Palace who are not a million miles from Watford in style, if a step up in quality.

Do not underestimate these, I'd take a scrappy 1-0 if offered now.....

To be fair to Watford, they've started the season well and look a tidy side with some very good players. It could be a very good match.

They've looked fairly comfortable as a Prem team. Any team can be beaten on their day, and it wouldn't surprise me if we did lose, but we should have enough to nick it I reckon.

We just need to play like we do in the second half of games for a whole match.

Lloyd Dyer should get a standing ovation. Miss the guy.

This game concerns me! Yes West Ham gifted them 2 goals, but that's the kind of luck you need to set you on a run in this league. Deeney guarenteed to score and they have some very good players in Anya and Abdi, and obviously ighalo. Hoping Vards and Mahrez continue their great form. I too would snap your hand off for a scrappy 1-0. Should be a cracking game imo. Underestimate Watford at your peril.

I think any game against anybody other than the top Six in this league should be three points at home.

There a good side. We are on fire though so...2-1

Only worry is its the rememberence fixture . Cannot remember the last time we won one ?

Ive read these posts and some of them disapoint me. Im a watford fan and i (and many other fans i know) have agreat deal of respect for you boys. You ve got a good team, you play good football and you ve done it the right way. We know you re favourites on saturday and you ve got an awesome striker in Vardy who is on fire...so we are happy to get anything out of the game. We ve started alright, which is a massive relief, but we know there is still along way to go, so are still grateful for points.

The reason im writing is that some of the posts on here are ridiculous! Ok...some posts are realistic, reasonable and measured...but so many of you think you re Real Madrid and unstoppable! You re doin well...but anything can happen still, its a long old season. Newcastle, Swansea, stoke and West Ham all thought they would sweep little old watford aside too.

Just think some of you should try bein a little more humble, more cautious and perhaps not count your chickens before they hatch. Im not just talking about saturdays result, im talking about how you do in the premier league in general.

Some of you are starting to sound like Liverpool or Arsenal fans.

They're a deluded little team with deluded supporters!...

They'll be put to the sword!

This is an example of the sort of post im talking about!......

I still ****ing hate Watford and I hope we absolutely smash them. Such a stupid nasty little club with no business being in the premier league.

...and this
