Collymore Posted 2 November 2015 Posted 2 November 2015 This is only for people who still prefers to listen to Radio Leicester for full match commentary... I'm interested to see the age stats for their regular listeners at the moment.
GorlestonFox Posted 3 November 2015 Posted 3 November 2015 I'm sure I could tell you the answer to this. Without a poll.
STUHILL Posted 3 November 2015 Posted 3 November 2015 I shouldn't have voted but i used to listen every week but now we are in the Prem, it's always easy to find a live stream when not at the games. We are big time now!
goose2010 Posted 3 November 2015 Posted 3 November 2015 I would only listen to RL if there was absolutely no other option
Mike Oxlong Posted 3 November 2015 Posted 3 November 2015 Can't do this poll I'm nine and three quarters.
Lestoh Posted 3 November 2015 Posted 3 November 2015 Do I 'prefer' to listen to the RL match commentary? nah i just can't afford a half-decent TV subscription. I always turn it off before they start the post-game fan call-in tho, that shit makes me cringe.
Izzy Posted 3 November 2015 Posted 3 November 2015 Can't do this poll I'm nine and three quarters. SAME OLD OXLONG, TAKING THE PISS!!
Livid Posted 3 November 2015 Posted 3 November 2015 I often listen to RL whilst watching a delayed stream, that way at least I know what's coming. The commentary could be an awful lot better though, I used to mock "Uncle Nev" but he was way above what we have to put up with now.
Livid Posted 3 November 2015 Posted 3 November 2015 Can't do this poll I'm nine and three quarters. And you signed up to FT when you were six and a half, that's quite impressive!
Alf Bentley Posted 3 November 2015 Posted 3 November 2015 Can't do this poll I'm nine and three quarters. Do you travel to away matches via the Hogwarts Express?
Mike Oxlong Posted 3 November 2015 Posted 3 November 2015 Do you travel to away matches via the Hogwarts Express? Yes you know which platform
Fox92 Posted 3 November 2015 Posted 3 November 2015 When I don't go I listen to Radio Leicester. I prefer listening to it than watching some dodgy stream. And I'm 23.
pSinatra Posted 3 November 2015 Posted 3 November 2015 Only listened to RL once this season, versus Hull, as there was no other option. Quite enjoyed the addition of Jungle during the interval
TeamRocket Posted 3 November 2015 Posted 3 November 2015 Ahh i do miss the good old RL but due to living in Bolton dont get a chance so i just come on here to find out whats happening
MooseBreath Posted 3 November 2015 Posted 3 November 2015 Listened to the hull game via radio Leicester. Dreadful. Give me an 8 pixel by 4 pixel stream over the radio anyday. I'd rather watch a stream with my eyes closed and covered in a pvc mask than listen to it on the radio. The stream would still be better if my laptop was on the moon and I was watching it through a telescope.
RoboFox Posted 3 November 2015 Posted 3 November 2015 I listen to the moan in. But when I'm not streaming live, the new commentary on FoxesPlayer is far superior. Whilst I like Stringer's excitement for the most part, the commentators (including Foxestalk's very own MrRandomSilly) are just more descriptive... And it's nice to hear the Birch talking out of his arse, or some of the current players getting involved.
Julian Joachim Jr Shabadoo Posted 3 November 2015 Posted 3 November 2015 Do I 'prefer' to listen to the RL match commentary? nah i just can't afford a half-decent TV subscription. I always turn it off before they start the post-game fan call-in tho, that shit makes me cringe. If you have a half-decent internet connection, all you need is an Android box (£40) or Kodi app for your smartphone (free) and you can watch every match and usually in decent quality. And any TV show or films you can think of too
Guest Posted 3 November 2015 Posted 3 November 2015 What do you do then if you don't listen to the radio commentary ? besides go to the game...... I quite like commentary, gives you your own imagination!
Carl the Llama Posted 3 November 2015 Posted 3 November 2015 What do you do then if you don't listen to the radio commentary ? besides go to the game...... I quite like commentary, gives you your own imagination! Watch a stream where the commentary isn't necessarily better but at least you have the images at your disposal to know just how much of a bell they're being.
Richard Posted 3 November 2015 Posted 3 November 2015 I listen to the first half on foxes player whilst doing other things then normally watch a stream for the second half.
Julian Joachim Jr Shabadoo Posted 3 November 2015 Posted 3 November 2015 Watch a stream where the commentary isn't necessarily better but at least you have the images at your disposal to know just how much of a bell they're being. I've never heard any of the NBC commentators discussing what sandwiches they had on the drive up to the stadium, or in detail the description of the hat a bloke's wearing sat 3 rows down
AmyLGK Posted 3 November 2015 Posted 3 November 2015 I voted as up until last week I was listening to the Radio Leicester commentary - now I have to put up with whatever FoxesPlayer throws at me - although Alan Birchenall's contribution was good!
