Agree with this.

Thought Ulloa didn't have a particularly good game for the most part but scored one and set up another.

Schmeichel's distribution was good yesterday.

7 Huth ( for nearly getting sent off)

7.5 Schmeichel, Morgan, Fuchs

8 Albrighton, Okazaki, Ulloa,Simpson, Vardy

 9 Drinkwater, Mahrez, Kante

First time ive given an opposition 1/10 too. simply dreadful, saw better performances in the championship

Schmeichel 7 - Little to do but assured when called upon

Simpson 8 - Proving me massively wrong at the moment. Solid and decent in possession. Nothing came down our right hand side all game

Huth 7 - Solid and commanding, gave Mitrovic nothing all day

Morgan 8 - See Huth, although actually played the ball out from the back too. Is visibly making a conscious effort to use the ball effectively

Fuchs 7 - Caught out with a couple of balls over the top but aside from that solid and excellent use of the ball. Set pieces a bit disappointing

Albrighton 6 - very Poor first half spent running down blind alleys and getting tackled. better 2nd half and work rate can never be questioned

Kante 9 - Everywhere, all game.

Drinkwater 8 - Excellent again. High energy and never lost the ball in tight areas.

Mahrez 8 - Hardly touched the ball first half but still put Vardy in for a 1 on 1. 2nd half back to taking the piss out of his direct opponent.

Ulloa 8 - held it up very well for the most part. Plus goal and assist

Vardy 8 - cracking finish for the goal. Touch and decision making a bit off but can forgive that.

Okazaki 6

The biggest thing that has impressed me about drinkwater this season is how calm he is on the ball. Last season if he was being closed down he would try to get rid of it as soon as possible, but so many times this season i have seen him dribble by the players and getting in some good positions to assist in the process

Think Ulloa held the ball up very well at times and looked lively.

Kasper 6 Nothing to do

Simpson 6 Solid

Wes 8 Looks back to his best

Huth 7 Played well but just got to be careful he doesn't get a red card

Fuchs 8 Great all round play despite his deliveries into the box and set pieces not

being as accurate as usual.

Albrighton 7 Thought this would be a good opportunity for him to get quality balls in the box having Ulloa to aim for but they weren't quite on point. Still am energetic and useful performance

Drinkwater 8 Looking like a top 6 PL midfielder. Class

Kante 9 Simply fantastic. Would fit right in at any of the top clubs (especially Arsenal) Reads everything and keeps it simple but to devastating effect

Mahrez 8 Top performance yet again. Unplayable at times

Vardy 8 What can you say about this guy? Club legend.

Ulloa 7 Very good performance. Held the ball up, linked play and scored.

Okazaki 6 He scored!!!

King 6 Great sub to bring on

Dyer N/A

Ranieri 9 Picked our best team imo

Newcastle 1 No exaggeration

Officials 8 Spot on

Kasper - 7 -never really tested

Back four - 8 - All solid

Albrighton - 7
Kante, Mahrez, Vardy, Drinkwater - 9 - All superb.

Ulloa - 7 - Good finish although unmarked. Excellent second half but thought he was sloppy/slow first half despite assisting Vardy.

Claudio - 8 - Very good.

Referee/Jones - 4 - Poor.

Newcastle - 1 - I think that probably flatters them! They were very very poor; worst team I've seen all season.

You could see right from the start of the game that this was going to be our day. We probed again and again first half and were so, so calm and collected when we got closed down. Superb interpassing which was enabled by Kante and Drinkwater always showing for the ball. We made the right decisions 8 times out of 10 and despite a few counter attacks from Newcastle, they never ever looked dangerous. Tioté going off injured was the one thing Newcastle's team couldn't cope with. He was their only chance of being remotely competitive in the middle of the pitch.

The utter dominance second half was partly because we'd tired them so much first half with our direct and quick play. No wonder we score such a high percentage of goals in the second half this season!!

Standout performers: Kante, Drinkwater, Mahrez (who was unplayable second half) and Vardy. No poor performances out there, although Okazaki once again failed to convince despite his goal.

I thought we saw signs of the good old Ulloa yesterday, really pleased for him. I'm not sure what to make of the back four today because they had very little to do. If I was a Newcastle fan I'd be worried, they were unbelievably bad. Our midfield really doesn't get the credit it deserves, Kanté and Drinkwater complement each other so well.

Claudio - 7 good team, good subs, all okay!

Kasper - 7 Didn't really have a lot to do

Huth - 6 Was solid but for some reason this year he has very poor discipline, will be sent off some time soon in my opinion.

Morgan, Fuchs and Simpson - 7 Same as Hut but without the negative

Kante - 9 Outstanding and heroic performance MOTM

Drinkwater - 8 Really stepped up this year

Albrighton, Mahrez - Both a 7, both played well

King, Okazaki and Dyer N/A Good Cameos

Vardy and Ulloa - 7's, Both great

Vardy, Kante, Drinkwater, Mahrez.....it's nitpicking to separate them from near perfect nines each.

And, in terms of effect, Ulloa wasn't far behind if at all because he scored one, made one and had chances on top just like Vardy....so 9 for him too because that's what strikers are supposed to do.

Then you can't do much better away at Newcastle than keeping a clean sheet and preventing your opponents having a shot on target so i'd have to give nines each for the whole back four because, for all that Newcastle played so poorly, that was due to the collective team achievement of not allowing them time on the ball, space to run into freely or any easy opportunity to play in their strikers.

That's a lot of nines but then our record at Newcastle has been awful in recent seasons yet we played the opposition to a standstill, went top of the league and established ourselves as the Premiership's top scorers as well....all factors that deserve recognising and commending.

Otherwise Shinji deserves 6.5 for scoring one of the worst goals I've ever seen for style - but they all count and you've got to be in there to finish them and Albrighton rated a fairly average 6 but still put in an acceptable shift. Kasper had so little to do but stayed alert and focused and gets a seven for doing everything he had to do.

Like others I had Kante as man of the match and manager Ranieri on 10 for overseeing as good an all-round performance as I can remember from a Leicester team on Tyneside.

Scored 1/10 for Newcastle and that was only for the ground staff clearing that little bit of snow off the pitch. For the mighty LCFC and Claudio 9's all the way and 8 for the Ref who had a decent match.

Ranieri 10 - How could you give him less? Picked the perfect team, set them up well and tactics showed the Brolly how it should be done.

Kasper 7 - Looked his usual confident self. Nothing really to deal with as they didn't have a shot on target. Distribution was excellent yesterday.

Simpson 7 - We look a much better defensive unit, and the whole defense has improved, since he and Fuchs came in.
Morgan 7 - Dealt with everything.
Huth 7 - Very lucky not to get sent off. Not for the first time this season either. Other than that, very solid.Fuchs 7 - Excellent again. Such a cultured left foot. He and Simpson have really settled the defense.

Albrighton 7 - Works so hard. Sublime pass out of defense to set up a Vardy run. Some lovely crosses too.
Drinkwater 8 - Top class again. His development into a premier league player is up there with Vardy.
Kante 9 - Superb again. Can't argue against him for MOTM. He NEVER stops and if he loses the ball, he just wins it straight back. Fits into our style of play so well.
Mahrez 8 - Excellent. So classy, and his vision of the game is getting better as the season goes on.

Vardy 8 - It just shows what hard work and determination can do for someone. Would have got MOTM and a 10 from me if he'd had scored one of his other two chances and played Mahrez in after his fantastic run.

Ulloa 7 - Much prefer him in the side than Okazaki. He held the ball up well, linked up well, defended well and scored too. Good game.

Subs:
Okazaki 6 - Goal of the season!!
King 6 - Good 15 minutes.

Dyer 5 - Not fair to rate him really!

Newcastle 1 - Worst team we've played this season by a long way. No guts in their team at all. We completely bossed the match. I'd be very worried if I supported them.

Officials 6 - I didn't notice them as much as usual, so they must have done a reasonable job.

Excellent all over the pitch.Take a bow lads you deserve it.

Nice to see Kasper coming and catching a few Balls.

Simpson growing into the team as he gains match fitness. Huth solid though shouldn't get involved.

What can you say about Morgan. Played right through the Summer and looks the better for it. Fuchs confident and steady.

Drinkwater turning into a top player. He learned so much by being out of the team last season. Playing with a lot of confidence now.

Kante Our very own Duracell Battery. Gives the rest of the team a lot more confidence. Albrighton solid.

Ulloa was excellent holding up the ball and even got a goal.

mahrez another brilliant performance. CR is really turning him into a top top player.

Vardy another good performance, I would have given him a nine but for selfishly not passing to Mahrez when he should have.

Ref was ok and used common sense at times.

Newcastle. If their players have any conscience they should give this weeks salary to Charity. Because they certainly didn't earn it.

Can the people rating the officials so badly explain?

They should've sent Huth off. It's still poor decision making if it goes for us as well as against us.

Don't think it was that bad tbh. Huth is giving refs a chance to send him off though and won't be so lucky everytime

For those who watched both matches, were Newcastle worse than Sunderland on opening day?

Yes. Sunderland somehow could score. Newcastle didn't have a shot on target (excluding blocked shots, the one Drinky cleared off the line).
