lgfualol Posted 27 January 2016 Posted 27 January 2016 Jesus christ it is like a joke that got out of control
Finnegan Posted 27 January 2016 Posted 27 January 2016 Unfortunately we will probably end up with Mackenzie Crook playing Jamie Vardy and Jonah Hill playing Conrad Logan Mackenzie Crook would be a better Vardy than Zac ****ing Efron.
Rocket-Ron Posted 27 January 2016 Posted 27 January 2016 Guys - this movie will be made here in the good ol USA Which means a white guy will be cast to play Mahrez At least there will be a chance of an Oscar nomination then
Guest safetosurfthisbeach Posted 27 January 2016 Posted 27 January 2016 This has got disaster written all over it
ScouseFox Posted 27 January 2016 Posted 27 January 2016 hopefully zac efron brings loads of the FIT birds he knows with him for a laugh
Danizen Posted 27 January 2016 Posted 27 January 2016 If there's any casting agents reading this, I'm your guy. I played the lead role in TWO primary school plays, I've played football at non-league level (Sunday league is non-league), I'm okay with partial nudity as long as it's tastefully done and I'm even willing to wear my hair in that weird cornrow/mohawk hybrid that Vardy was rocking in July 2013. Send me a PM.
EnderbyFox Posted 3 February 2016 Posted 3 February 2016 Hollywood screenwriter Adrian Butchart (back row second left) watched from Vardy's private box at the King Power stadium http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-3429264/Hollywood-screenwriter-hoping-make-film-Jamie-Vardy-s-life-watches-Leicester-star-score-stunner-striker-s-private-box.html
Ric Flair Posted 3 February 2016 Posted 3 February 2016 That goal has just cemented any film plans and if we win the league as well then it will be a story that you only ever see in films anyway! Ridiculous. Have I taken a whack to the head and been in a coma for the past 6 months?
AjcW Posted 3 February 2016 Posted 3 February 2016 I see the Magician is trying to bag a role in the film too!
bluesbrothers Posted 3 February 2016 Posted 3 February 2016 After last night, we could have Piers Morgan play Jamie and I'd still go and see it in iMax.
FoxCal Posted 3 February 2016 Posted 3 February 2016 It's nightmarish to think of any of the actors being touted ending up with the Vardy role. I could tolerate Efron, but only because he's actually become quite likeable over the last few years. I think Jack O'Connell would be a reasonable shout. He was pretty good as Bobby Charlton in that BBC thing about Manchester United a few years ago, and I really rate him as an actor. It's just hard to stomach the idea of a big Derby fan playing a nailed on Leicester Legend...
johnny the fox Posted 3 February 2016 Posted 3 February 2016 http://talkingbaws.com/2016/02/video-will-ferrell-gives-jamie-vardys-party-a-whole-new-meaning/? oh yeah Will..
4everfox Posted 3 February 2016 Posted 3 February 2016 Imagine if Vardy won the PFA POTY and we won the title - great film ending Scoring a match winning hat trick in the European Championship final would be an even better ending.

Ridiculous. Have I taken a whack to the head and been in a coma for the past 6 months? I can just see the recreation of that goal. 124 takes later and whoever is playing Vardy still hadn't reached the six yard box or even on target when the director finally losses his patience and yells cut. What we then get in the film is a front shot of the ball being booted clearly going out for a throw and then a shot of the ball going in the net clearly having been thrown in.
4everfox Posted 3 February 2016 Posted 3 February 2016 I wonder if THE Jamie Vardy will have a cheeky cameo in the film, I think he will.

ALC Fox Posted 7 February 2016 Posted 7 February 2016 Best thread since Preki. Vinnie Jones as Pearson and Larry Lamb as Claudio are inspired suggestions. I can't think of anyone currently who could play Vardy. There have been some good suggestions but none that really hit the nail on the head for me. I'd hope for a hitherto unknown actor making their breakthrough. Or they could hold off 5 or 6 years and just have Vardy post-retirement.
