Thought Monk came across as very, very bitter in his post match interviews yesterday. Clearly lost it - they're still a very, very good side on paper and we dicked them yesterday.

Yeah, claimed that the first goal was handball hahaha

He's one of those managers who always manages to have some sort of gripe with the officials when they lose.

Genuinely couldn't believe that Monkey didn't come out and just say "we got dicked by the best team in the league like so many others have before us and so many others will go on to, no biggie" then just walked out.

Must mention the bench.

 

How fantastic it is to have the current Swiss captain with 89 caps, An £8m player, a former Polish international with 60 caps, A 96 cap record scoring current international striker, A 32 cap Welsh midfielder, A Ghana 11 cap international, and 109 cap goalkeeper who are not on the pitch from the beginning? I can't remember a stronger bench!

 

Let's not overplay the 109 cap goalkeeper though, we may as well have Shilton on the bench. It's good to have the experience, but we could definitely strengthen our squad.

Does anybody actually know whether EC personally took DD under his arm and gave him some coaching or is it just pure speculation?

Not "well he must have picked something up ... etc." I mean really know.

We're just on another level in midfield this year. Not even sure why anyone is having this discussion.

The commentator said Leicester have some tough fixtures coming up, then the other one said, none of them will be looking forward to playing this Leicester side, that's for sure! lol
