Liverpool.. Boxing day.. Early thoughts..

What's happened to Jon Flanagan, who supposed to be one of Liverpool's future talent.

Having watched the game on Sunday, there appeared to be holes galore in their team - so I expect Mahrez, Vardy and Albrighton to be pivotal for this game.

Knee ligaments.

I'd be embarrassed to get 1 point out of West Brom at home

Despite the celebrations like they'd won the ****ing league?

Let's face it we were robbed by two appalling ref decisions at Anfield. We are a much better side now and they are worse so why would you expect anything other than a win for Leicester, 3-1 to us.

I don't get why we're dismissing Liverpool so much.

They're vulnerable in the back but you can bet they'll have been itching to get back on the pitch as soon as the final whistle blew at Watford.

Will be harder than people think. They will need to drastically improve on their Watford showing to have any chance the way we are playing though.

I wonder what Claudio will have to say about the prospect of being "dismantled" and how many other half-decent managers planned to do exactly the same.

It shouldn't  be hard for Liverpool I suppose. What coach couldn't dismantle a surely tired-by-now two-man team whose main striker reportedly needs injections to keep the pain of injury at bay and who won't likely last beyond the end of January without a break.

Really, the Klopp king has only one guy to deal with and, judging by the boiling passion of the man I can well imagine how he'll go about that. So basically there's nothing to discuss.

The bloke who won £5000 for betting City would be top at Christmas might risk another £5 backing a 10-0 defeat on Merseyside and Arsenal will surely be free to crow all the way to the title.

Perhaps the only way Leicester could continue doing the unexpected this time will be for Claudio to ring Anfield to concede the game on the basis of a "mismatch" (11 against 2 being unfair) so that Vardy can get on with moving house over Christmas and Mahrez can mull over a million potential transfer moves while the rest of the City squad enquire as to whether they might be wanted as potential team players at the Kilworth Springs Golf Club.

I don't get this. If, at halftime at Watford, Klopp couldn't make them sufficiently ashamed of their performance to come out and improve in the 2nd half, how are they any more likely to up their performance against us. They're just as likely to succumb to the mantra "at Anfield, superb backing from our crowd, you'll never walk alone, it's only Leicester" to expect to beat us without breaking sweat.

In the same breath he mentions how Liverpool are starting to take great strides. I'd be embarrassed to get 1 point out of West Brom at home and Watford away if I was a Villa fan let alone a Liverpool fan.

Also got stuffed by Newcastle.
