st albans fox Posted 31 December 2015 Posted 31 December 2015 Hope the bloody ref is better for this one. Up the cityAndre marrinerHad him away at Stoke Strangely he reffed both Stoke fixtures last season too.
Happy Fox Posted 31 December 2015 Posted 31 December 2015 Kasper Simpson Morgan Huth Fuchs Mahrez Drinkwater Kante Albrighton Okazaki Vardy Subs: De Laet, Inler, Ulloa, Dyer, Schwarzer, King and Bennie 2-1 City win Vardy double. Stanislas with their consolation.
Bluetintedspecs Posted 31 December 2015 Posted 31 December 2015 As others have stated Bournemouth are far from mugs and they have an excellent manager. With players suitably rested and recovered from Christmas I can see us having too much for them on the day and honestly I'm not being disrespectful when I say I fancy a statement 3-0 win from the lads.COYB
Free Falling Foxes Posted 31 December 2015 Posted 31 December 2015 They score some crackers from outside the box and with Kasper's record with long range shots, I hope MMorgan et al get the blocks in.
Bettsj2 Posted 31 December 2015 Posted 31 December 2015 Need to be extremely cautious against these. We saw against Man City how a bit of pace can send our back 4 into meltdown. Bournemouth have pace to burn going forward. Really important to win this game.

Bournemouth have pace to burn going forward. Really important to win this game. Completely disagree. Bournemouth were awful against Arsenal away, I think we are giving them too much respect especially be it that we are at home. I don't know what game you were watching but at no time point did our defence go into meltdown. In fact I thought we contained them very well, you can forgive City a few hairy moments having to defend against some of best attacking players in the world! If we can keep de bruyne and silva quiet, I'm sure we can keep junior stanislas quiet.
justfoxes Posted 31 December 2015 Posted 31 December 2015 A bit of a tough one but we're at home so I'll go for a 3-1 foxes Victory !!
suffolk fox Posted 31 December 2015 Posted 31 December 2015 Jeeps is it Bournemouth we are playing or Barcelona? Yes, respect them but if we can't beat these or at least compete with these at home we shouldn't be thinking about possible European football. They have had some very good results and they play to their strenghs but we should have too much for them at home 2 0 leicester.
suffolk fox Posted 31 December 2015 Posted 31 December 2015 Cancel my Above positive post. I see the gaffer has given them licence to get pissed on New years eve. I can only see one result now aka Brighton at home when we won the championship title the week before. Hope I'm wrong but if they are still hungover I can only see a defeat.
Strokes Posted 31 December 2015 Posted 31 December 2015 No disrespect to Bournemouth, but if we want to be playing Champions League football next season we HAVE to be beating Bournemouth at home. 2 changes - Dyer for Albrighton and Okazaki for Ulloa. They are a possession based team which will suit us. Get Okazaki and Kante nicking the ball off them and setting Vardy off on the break and I'm sure we'll score a few. I'm saying 2-1. Vardy and Drinkwater. You want Okazaki to swap places with Ulloa on the bench?
jammie82uk Posted 31 December 2015 Posted 31 December 2015 Stat time The Foxes are unbeaten in the last five games against Bournemouth (W4 D1). Bournemouth have scored exactly one goal in all four of their away matches against Leicester City. Jamie Vardy scored the first of his goals in his record-breaking scoring run of 11 consecutive Premier League games in the reverse fixture against Bournemouth back in August. Bournemouth have kept just one clean sheet in their 10 Premier League away games so far in 2015-16; this coming in a 1-0 win at Chelsea. Despite not appearing in the Premier League since September 26th, Callum Wilson is still Bournemouth's top goalscorer with five goals; two more than any other player at the club. After scoring in 18 successive Premier League matches, Leicester City have now failed to score in two consecutive games in the competition. The Foxes have only conceded eight goals in their last 10 Premier League matches. Riyad Mahrez (13 goals, seven assist) has been involved in more goals than any other Premier League player so far in 2015-16 (20). Bournemouth have outrun their opponents in all 19 of their Premier League games so far in 2015-16. Leicester City have won a league-high seven penalties in the Premier League so far in 2015-16.

Except for the fact that there's highly likely still one training lesson on Friday. That should kick the hangover straight outta those bones.
Ricky Posted 31 December 2015 Posted 31 December 2015 Vardy or Mahrez fantasy football captain this week?
filbertway Posted 31 December 2015 Posted 31 December 2015 Except for the fact that there's highly likely still one training lesson on Friday. That should kick the hangover straight outta those bones. If they're actually going out on the lash tonight we're definitely losing. Surely he's not actually given them permission to get smashed? Vardy or Mahrez fantasy football captain this week? Mahrez!
MC Prussian Posted 31 December 2015 Posted 31 December 2015 If they're actually going out on the lash tonight we're definitely losing. Surely he's not actually given them permission to get smashed? Mahrez! You seriously believe Eddie Howe will put all his players in a shack with bread and water, lock it up and only get them out again on Friday?
hornyhollthefox123 Posted 31 December 2015 Posted 31 December 2015 There's no way they should be allowed to go and get smashed tonight! Have one or two maybe but they can go out and get as pissed as they want in 48 hours after the game then have two days off and still have 5 days before the Spurs game. Seems a bit daft to give them free reign to go and get pissed 36 hours before a game. Really hoping it's just been exaggerated by the press and Ranieri didn't mean it quite like that.
filbertway Posted 31 December 2015 Posted 31 December 2015 You seriously believe Eddie Howe will put all his players in a shack with bread and water, lock it up and only get them out again on Friday? I'd have thought every manager in the league would be instructing their players to keep it to one or two so theyre able to do their job 2 days later. Has anyone got anything to back up what suffolk said, or is it just rubbish talk?

To be fair, I think the players will have bbrighton in mind and I cant see ngolo, mahrez or fuchs going nuts. So we should be fine. N'golo definitely drinks J2O on a night out.
EverybodyDannsNow Posted 31 December 2015 Posted 31 December 2015 It doesn't work like that. Bournemouth are a good side with a cracking manager and if it hadn't been for a pile-up of injuries they might have taken a lot more scalps to add to the remarkable ones they've already claimed. We'll have to work every bit as hard as in any other match to take the spoils. In fact Bournemouth were exactly the kind of side we'd have lost to in the first half of last season. Organised, committed, all for one and perfectly capable of competing with anyone in our league. . Not for one moment do I think this will be an easy game. I respect Bournemouth, and I actually think they will give us more of a game than Chelsea did a few weeks ago. All I meant was that if we really want to finish 4th this season, we must be winning home games against teams that are likely to finish in the bottom half of the table.
dorsetboy Posted 31 December 2015 Posted 31 December 2015 without disrepecting bournemouth i feel this is a game we could maybe give krameric and dyer full games and give vardy and mahrez a sit on the bench and a good rest with the option of coming on should they need to . ---------------------------------------kasper----------------------------------- simpson-------------huth---------------------morgan-----------------fuchs ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- dyer----------------kante----------drinkwater-----------------albrighton ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- -----------------------------------ulloa------------------------------------------ ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ----------------------------------krameric--------------------------------------

FFS, he hasn't given them 'permission to get smashed'. He's told them to celebrate and that he trusts his players. I love this - treating them like professionals and adults. If any of them over do it, they'll get found out on the pitch and may lose their place. I'm sure the players will have a beer in moderation, but won't be daft enough to let their team mates or the fans down. They can't be locked up and no one can 'tell' them what they can or can't do. I'm sure they'd all rather have the three points on Saturday instead of a hangover.
CharlieCharles Posted 31 December 2015 Posted 31 December 2015 Kasper Fuchs - Morgan - Huth - Simpson Albrighton - Kante - DD - Mahrez Kramaric - Vardy Narrow 2-1 Leicester win, although i would not be surprised if we only get a point. I remember everyone saying we would smash Yeovil a few seasons ago and look what happened there.

As long as New Year isnt round Was' gaff we will be fine. Can Imagine the whole squad going toe to toe with him in a vodka drinking contest and him being the only one left standing. Apart from N'golo who is watching Judge Jules in the living room with his j2o
