Bournemouth at home... Up next.

3-1 to us. We wont disrespect them but the fact of the matter is that we are better than them and it would take the team to have an off day to get anything less than 3 pts.

Also, I think their run flattered to deceive a little:

- They beat Man Utd and Chelsea at their lowest ebb.

- They beat 9 man West Brom

I'd have thought every manager in the league would be instructing their players to keep it to one or two so theyre able to do their job 2 days later.

Has anyone got anything to back up what suffolk said, or is it just rubbish talk?

WHERE COULD THE LEICESTER PLAYERS HEAD TO CELEBRATE NYE?

Club Republic

Vardy and Co could decide to watch DJ Annie Mac's midnight set.

Club Sosho

After a stunning year in which Leicester stayed up and then topped the table, the squad may decide to celebrate in the city's 'most exclusive nightclub'

The Shed

Leicester may instead decide to bring in the new year with some live music at The Shed

Kramma ain't gonna get a look in so stop calling for him

Took me back to being a kid this comment Kasey..... " Is Kram coming out to play? "

"No stop calling for him, hes not coming out" :)

There's no way they should be allowed to go and get smashed tonight! Have one or two maybe but they can go out and get as pissed as they want in 48 hours after the game then have two days off and still have 5 days before the Spurs game. Seems a bit daft to give them free reign to go and get pissed 36 hours before a game.

Really hoping it's just been exaggerated by the press and Ranieri didn't mean it quite like that.

Vardy's interview awhile back, confirmed especially his, but also the squads attitude, towards going off the rails.

He hinted that some drinks do flow, but no party access, no headaches in the morning.

We have learnt how to keep our bodies fit and not to abuse during the season, including festive periods.

I dont see anybody going over the top..

I trust the players to not over do it.

i hope that to a man they all go out and get absolutely off their tits just to prove that we are a better club with a better set of players than every other club ever to exist.

we'll still beat bournemouth. we could play kramaric and inler and still probs get a point off these.

CR has suggested responsible celebration so why the misinterpretation that they would get hammered?

Daily mail garbage or Daily hate mail garbage?

I expect this game to be back to normal with our attacking style.  Bournemouth do have pace but not the same skill and quality like Man City have, our defence managed to keep they shut out .  Hopefully Fuchs can keep Richie quiet and we don't give away too many corners.  Klopp changed his style of play and closed us down at every chance and then attack as usual, I can't see Howe changing how his team plays or if they are good enough to do that.   Kante will be the difference in this game breaking up their play as they try to play football the correct way.

While their wins against Man Utd and Chelsea were impressive they have hardly dominated their other games.  Looking at their results they only managed to get a late draw against Everton, scraped a win with a late Pen against a 9 man West Brom, draws to Swansea & Palace and losses to Soton & Newcastle.  They lost to both Spurs and City 5-1, we drew both conceded 1 goal yet we look like we are there for the taking.  I'm all for being proud of your team but show some humility and be realistic.  They have scored 15 less than us, conceded 9 more and are 19 points behind us yet we are rubbish/lucky/riding high with confidence etc.  I'm glad their fans think they will turn us over just like all the other teams before them

We know that this Leicester team doesn't go out fearing anyone, they will respect them and know what they are capable of but it's all down to our players doing their job like they know they can.

Hopefully Mahrez can be a bit more disciplined or communicate better with Albrighton when he drifts inside and to the left, I noticed a few times we lost the ball in midfield and Mahrez had to track from the middle leaving Simpson with no cover.  I think it will end 3-1.  Leo to rough up the defence for Vardy to nip in, Mahrez owes them a goal or two after they injured him in the first minute.

Must win frankly. Should win. But I like Eddie Howe and I like the way Bournmouth have gone about their business. In a nut shell I hope they lose to us but stay up.

Slow news day taking the words from someone with English as his 4th language literally.  I do like how they have included The shed as a potential venue for them.

They are professionals and it's only NYE, they have more important things to celebrate than this.  I would expect them to stay in and focus on a job at hand rather than ruin their sleep pattern and dehydrate their bodies with alcohol before an important game, it's hard to go out just for one or two.  If they can't miss a night out over fitness and their job when they are at the most important point in their careers then they need to have a rethink.  This could be the edge over Bournemouth.

I know I sound like a miser but they need to be more dedicated and professional like me.  I'm working tomorrow and Saturday but not going out so I can give 100%  whist sitting in a chair watching all the TV channels, making sure they are working to keep the nation entertained.  You're all welcome.  :revenge:

People fearing that our players will get smashed tonight probably deliberately forget about the fact that at least three of them don't drink alcohol at all (Mahrez, Benalouane, Inler).

Hearing ranieri say they can celebrate the new year made me think, he's only saying that so Bournemouth don't expect us to be on the ball, like we weren't against Liverpool.

Start of the mind games. I hope so anyway as we were poor at Liverpool and looked like we had all been on the sauce Christmas day.

1-1

Our run is over.

We take the lead, they equalise around half time and we never quite get going.

Wheels coming off...........

They could probably argue the same point, and they now have more confidence after beating United, Chelsea, etc.

I agree however that we should have enough to beat them, if we work hard with no complacency. 2-0 to us.

Fair point, those are some great results they have had. To be honest, I have been concentrating on our direct rivals, so I'm not that well informed on how they have managed that.

Worst thing we can do is look at this fixture as being the end of the tough run. They're a banana skin of a side, but one we're well capable of beating, and thankfully I think we've got the mentality to do just that. 3-1 Leicester.

without disrepecting bournemouth i feel this is a game we could maybe give krameric and dyer full games and give vardy and mahrez a sit on the bench and a good rest with the option of coming on should they need to .

That's exactly what you've just done.

If we played that team we deserve to lose for not taking them seriously and thinking this is the same Bournemouth side of five years a go.

Mahrez & Vardy need to get through another game and can have 10 days rest after it if they need it.

Now we've come out of our tough Christmas spell it's imperative we don't take our foot off the gas and go back to getting 3pts from these types of games if we're going to do anything this season.
