May as well take Dean Hammonds number 7.

But what about all the people that bought Hammond shirts at the start of the season?

Roughly £4m for a 19-year old whose main attributes are speed... and speed?

Welcome to LCFC, Demarai! I do hope you grow as you grow older and can fulfill your promise, avoiding costly injuries. I'm thinking of Sterling and Sturridge in particular...

After Leicester City wrapped up the signing of Demarai Gray from Birmingham City on Monday, Ben Chilwell was quick to praise his new team-mate's qualities as a winger.

The Academy graduate and Gray are England Under-20s team-mates and will now link up at Club level as the winger’s signing coincided with Chilwell’s return from a highly successful loan spell with Huddersfield Town in the Championship.

Gray, who can play on either the left or right flank, has been away several times on international duty with City’s Chilwell as well as facing him in pre-season when the Foxes played Birmingham City – so he knows first hand just how talented the youngster is.

Having played 72 times in the Championship during his short career so far, Gray has already shown that he’s full of pace and power – something that Chilwell believes makes him an ideal fit for City’s style.
“Leicester like to play on the counter. They’ve got lots of pace going forward and he’ll add to that,” he told LCFC.com. “He’s so quick and will definitely add to their strengths.

“I spoke to him a few days ago. I said I’d heard he was coming. We spoke about Leicester a bit and I’d spoken previously about it away with England too. I think he’s looking forward to it.

“He’s played a lot of games in the Championship for Birmingham and he’s probably one of the better players there. He’s proven himself there and he’ll be wanting to prove himself in the Premier League now.”
Having already had the experience of playing down the same flank with and against Gray, Chilwell admits that he’s looking forward to the prospect of having him on his side again.

He added: “The majority of the time he’ll play on the right but we’ve had patches where he’s been on my side. He’ll do his defensive job too and track the full back. Going forward he’s really good.

“Hopefully that will happen (playing with him) at some stage. Now I’m back I’m just going to see how the next few months go and try to take every opportunity as and when they come.”

Solid signing, very happy with this and at 4m its a steal, English, young, fast and bags of talent with plenty of experience.

Marhez Gray

Vardy

Not entirely sure I would play Vardy as attacking mid with these pair up front to be honest.

Welcome DG.

Let's get him into the Leicester fitness program and the Mahrez school of improvement and we'll have a 40 million pound player.
