SystonFox Posted 10 January 2016 Posted 10 January 2016 Intent. Demarai Gray. with intent. He played with intent. I like him. I love Andy Gray
GaelicFox Posted 10 January 2016 Posted 10 January 2016 Fantastic debut ......HE proved there is no substitute for competitive game time when your developing ! so excited to see how he will I prove with age , he will bulk up and get confidence Massive job done by walsh and the club again !
richardsfoxes Posted 10 January 2016 Posted 10 January 2016 Looks a kid with loads of potential, lets not forget he is still very raw and not put to much pressure on him.
ScouseFox Posted 10 January 2016 Posted 10 January 2016 Intent. Demarai Gray. with intent. He played with intent. I like him. I love Andy Gray it was like he was literally playing in a tent today
yorkie1999 Posted 10 January 2016 Posted 10 January 2016 Great today and we've actually bought someone that likes to shoot from outside the box. Only 19 he should only get better what a bargain I bet he's buzzing. Please don't coach the shooting ability out of him.
AyewJoking Posted 10 January 2016 Posted 10 January 2016 Please don't coach the shooting ability out of him. racist
m4DD0gg Posted 10 January 2016 Posted 10 January 2016 Assist and would have scored if not for the deflection. Looks very promising.
Thracian Posted 10 January 2016 Posted 10 January 2016 All positive for me. Good corners, free-kicks, decent pace, ran at people, willingness to shoot and from long range too and made a damn good goal for Wasyl which should earn him protection for the rest of the season! Haha Ranieri was even cheeky enough to mention it before it happened! I thought the lad also showed quite sufficient willingness to do his bit in defending so, overall, and in the circumstances, I'd rate him the high side of 7.5 today. Hopefully he'll show willing to keep learning and improving his effectiveness still further. And that he'll be kept involved, as is so important.
filbertway Posted 10 January 2016 Posted 10 January 2016 Assist and would have scored if not for the deflection. Looks very promising. Did that even take a deflection? I swear it just had some mad swerve on it.
Ric Flair Posted 10 January 2016 Posted 10 January 2016 That first touch he took down a fizzing ball in the 1st half was unreal!
Babylon Posted 10 January 2016 Posted 10 January 2016 He's taller then I thought, I just presumed he was a short arse.
An Away Move Posted 10 January 2016 Posted 10 January 2016 Really enjoyed his debut today. I thought he was growing into it and THAT shot probably did a lot for his confidence. Anyone else think it was slightly odd timing to take him off, just as he seemed to be getting his tail up?
Jaspa Posted 10 January 2016 Posted 10 January 2016 He's taller then I thought, I just presumed he was a short arse. Same here, he's got a decent frame. Could see himgrowing physically like Zaha if he needed to. Has a knack of getting the ball to bounce out of certain places for him and squeezes through players, chases lost causes with pace and looks dangerous around the box. Took the corners and got an assist from one. Hes at an age where like Chilwell he has to show the right attitude and desire to get regular first team action, add to that develop in the right ways and he has a fantastic future with us. Impressed with his debut
CloudFox Posted 10 January 2016 Posted 10 January 2016 Suddenly I'm not so worried about injuries to our left side. Both he and Chilwell proved they can cut it if given a bit more game time. What a bargain...
lgfualol Posted 10 January 2016 Posted 10 January 2016 He's taller then I thought, I just presumed he was a short arse. Same with Chilwell, I always thought because he was young he would be about 5 ft 3
suffolk fox Posted 10 January 2016 Posted 10 January 2016 We now look as though we have a player who can take a decent corner was a decent debut froma young lad.
Grewks Posted 10 January 2016 Posted 10 January 2016 I like albrighton. He seems a likeable lad, works hard etc... But i can't wait to see Gray, Mahrez, and vardy together.
UPinCarolina Posted 10 January 2016 Posted 10 January 2016 Top rate signing! Drooling at the thought of Mahrez/Vardy/Gray/Kante all on the pitch at the same time.
Clever Fox Posted 10 January 2016 Posted 10 January 2016 He done very well today, having a hand in both goals if I'm correct. The excellent corner and the through ball to Okazaki for the 2nd goal. The shot he from the edge of the box I'm sure it would have been a goal but for the fact their full back got a toe to it which deflected it just wide of the post. Funnily he scored an almost identical goal against us for Birmingham in the pre season friendly. We must have the best left side in the premiership now.

With regards to depth yes......but sterling/clichy are more proven. Azpi/Hazard are not bad either.
Tuna Posted 10 January 2016 Posted 10 January 2016 IF this release clause was well known why didn't other teams activate it? Can't believe we were the only ones interseted. Makes me wonder whether he only wanted to sign for us.
Ross-Kemp Posted 10 January 2016 Posted 10 January 2016 Good signs. Positive enthusiastic play will always win people over very quickly. Imagine him coming on with 30 minutes to go, as a defender it'd be horrible. £3.75 million for a 19 year old English winger, that's a bargain every day of the week and twice on a Sunday.
Ozwin Posted 10 January 2016 Posted 10 January 2016 He was brilliant. I like to think he's surprised even Ranieri and given him food for thought for the coming games.

Anyone else think it was slightly odd timing to take him off, just as he seemed to be getting his tail up?The impression I got is that Claudio wasn't planning to play him Wednesday but after seeing him today changed his mind and therefore took him off to give him a rest?
