Another 3 points for Claudio

Apparently a player in a blue shirt with 9 on the back was seen running up the a14 moments earlier.

Yep - and with a tow rope tied around his waist. Claudio didn't want the pizzas to get cold.

5 points and a fine

Leicester City boss Claudio Ranieri has been used to picking up points on his travels this season - and he picked up another five in Peterborough today (Wednesday).

Italian Ranieri was given five penalty points on his driving licence after pleading guilty to speeding on the A14 near Huntingdon on October 13 last year (2015).

The 64-year-old manager had been caught driving his Mercedes Benz at 96mph on the 70mph road.

Ranieri did not attend the hearing, but entered a plea by post.

The court was told he has been driving since the age of 19, and in his letter he said he could not recall picking up any other points during his driving career, which has taken him to clubs across Europe.

He said he had no excuses for his speed, and clocked up over 10,000 miles every year for work, driving to other football matches to keep an eye on talent and to run his eye over opposition teams.

Chair magistrate Rev Michael Matthews also fined him £700, ordered him to pay £85 costs and a £70 surcharge, having taken into account his wages.

Former Chelsea and Juventus manager Ranieri has had a spectacular start to his Foxes career, as they set the pace at the top of the Premier League for much of the start of the season. They currently sit second in the table.

"But your honour there must be mistake. You say I travel 96mph so why I still not catch running man wearing Leicester shirt? I know Leicester shirt make people very fast. So quick sometimes I cannot tell face. Whoosh, they are gone.

"But we have very clever scientists at club. Very easily they measure speed of sound, speed of light and sometimes speed of people in Leicester shirt. Sadly, "the shirts" still have progress to make.

"I challenge them run 100mph before end of season. For now I'm very proud of effort but still they reach only 75% of target. Yet on day you speak about, I am not catching runner in Leicester shirt, even with car.

"So, it only possible I am travelling maximum 70mph - is just right to match speed liked by law court," I think.

"Maybe I need buy better car. Otherwise I soon lose all "the shirts" if they run away.

"Except maybe one. He run fast too but always he slip over. Once, twice, never get very far. If each slip could be called "goal" he'd be very expensive champion. You like to borrow for court team?

"By the way, you want season ticket next year," your honour? Maybe many exciting trips to Europe. You can take my car, no problem.

"It is soooooo slow. Everyone very safe.

"Maybe when you finish, I give to Swan Lestas."" :cap:    :D  :scarf:

Let's have a whip round and say a fans "thankyou" for all he's done for us. Anyone able to clock 96mph on the A14 deserves an award not a fine. The road is a nightmare with more cameras than a voyeur's convention. Any chance of putting the five points against our name when Saturday's League table's published. :scarf:

Kante would have stopped him
