Andre Carrillo

You are reading way too much into that

Maybe he is but the bit he says "sportings last chance to possibily cash in as he wants to play elsewhere" is certainly true.

With him being out of his contract in the summer Sporting have got one week to get rid of him and his wages otherwise he becomes worthless to them. Carillo may prefer to see his contract out and move in the summer but if Sporting refuse to sell for a nominal fee then they're cutting their nose to spite their face as the one thing we can say with a degree of certainty is that he won't be at Sporting at the start of next season.

Can anyone explain what's going on with this guy?

He's been suspended by Sporting since September for betrayal, as he refused to sign a new contract???

If he's been suspended since Sept it's not going to benefit us in the short term signing him in Jan. He wouldn't be fit so might take a couple of months to get him back up to speed

I see this being a summer move where he'd pocket a percentage of any transfer fee

He's out of contract so he'd get a larger signing on fee. There wouldn't be a transfer fee

Sorry that's what I meant. He'd get a fee as part of the deal. Similar to Ayew at Swansea

Considering that we'd be getting him for a knock down fee and when you consider what's at stake ( the title ) surely we can throw him a signing on Fee to come here early, like straight away.  I do think he's a regular Goal scorer which is what we need for the rest of the season.

If we wait till the summer there might be much more competition for his signature when on a free, whereas going for him now would steal a march on potential competitors. It's true that it may take him a few weeks to get into shape, but if he could throw in a few goals and match-turning moments during our run-in then it could make the crucial difference in our clinching the Prem title. The extra cost in buying him now would be paltry for what we could gain. Moreover, he would get a full summer's pre-season training which would settle him in nicely to make a big contribution in our Euro games.

It is done? The Peruvian player André Carrillo was seen on Monday at the clinic where the players and possible reinforcements Atletico Madrid come to perform medical examinations.

The book of passes in the European market is about to close and therefore André Carrillo had to go to Madrid for a medical examination, even though the Peruvian does not play for months, punished for Sporting Lisbon for refusing to extend his contract.

The director of the Peruvian Selection Juan Carlos Oblitas confirmed that the 'snake' is in Madrid and added that physical work is making a personal trainer to keep fit.

The truth is that André Carrillo is under contract until June this year with Sporting Lisbon, but the Spanish press says Peru is already tied to Atletico Madrid and with an annual salary of three million euros.

I see Atletico Madrid weren't interested in him in the summer when a €13m fee was involved but happily took him on a Bosman.

I wouldn't be surprised if Carillo only plays in the Copa Del Ray and comes on as sub a few times. Then they'll sell him to someone like us for €13m a year later and rake in a €10m profit minus wages.
