Socks Posted 12 January 2016 Posted 12 January 2016 the most pleasing part was that they brought kane and alli on to swing the game their way with half an hour to go and kane literally touched the ball about three times. against a completely second choice back four. Exactly, but straight after the final whistle the media & pundits were spaffing over Kane as per normal, just cos he scored a penalty. Pennos are 50/50 play normal team but play Gray instead of Albrighton and rest Vardy. Hopefully Gray & Mahrez together may create us some chances again

Albrighton has done nothing wrong in order to be dropped. Leave Gray on the bench bring him on with 20 minutes to go and let him run at their tired defence having been pulled apart by Vardy and Mahrez.
coolhandfox Posted 12 January 2016 Posted 12 January 2016 That's not saying much, he was woeful Different game, Spurs will not be sitting back, they will have to attack in front of their own fans, he'll have more space to work in!
Harry - LCFC Posted 12 January 2016 Posted 12 January 2016 People are getting very excited over one hour by Gray. Albrighton has performed consistently well all season, he fully understands the team and can be relied upon to make a contribution defensively. He's the obvious choice for the big games at present.

Albrighton has performed consistently well all season, he fully understands the team and can be relied upon to make a contribution defensively. He's the obvious choice for the big games at present. To be honest Gray does look a bigger threat than Albrighton, but as you say we have seen him for 1 hour.
filbertway Posted 12 January 2016 Posted 12 January 2016 Different game, Spurs will not be sitting back, they will have to attack in front of their own fans, he'll have more space to work in! Problem is, the majority of his game will be spent on the corner of our own penalty box tracking Davies, so it's hard to affect the opposition from there. Hope we don't sit too deep in this one as the last three prem games have been painful viewing. (Minus the half where Bournemouth camped in their own box).
kingcarr21 Posted 12 January 2016 Posted 12 January 2016 Love that all the pundits are once again writing us off. The pressure is all on Spurs. I think we would do well to rest Vardy and bring him off the bench if needed. Kasper Simpson Morgan Was Fuchs Mahrez Drinky Kante Albrighton Ulloa Okazaki Subs - Schwarzer Huth De Laet King Gray Inler Vardy Think Albrighton is getting some harsh criticism. He's been brilliant for us so far. I fear that we would be rushing Vardy back when more rest/light training will get him raring to go against Villa. Ulloa and Okazaki played quite well on Sunday. Will be interesting to see if Vardy does play. I believe Ranieri will start him. Lets hope Vardy gets through unscathed
les-tah Posted 12 January 2016 Posted 12 January 2016 if its Ulloa and Okzaki starting you cant really get excited about it upfront. Ulloa is offering absolute nothing at the moment and Okazaki has looked poor albeit he looked ok when he came on in the week! (much prefer okazaki as an impact sub)
The Doctor Posted 12 January 2016 Posted 12 January 2016 the most pleasing part was that they brought kane and alli on to swing the game their way with half an hour to go and kane literally touched the ball about three times. against a completely second choice back four. I thought what was more pleasing was kane being made to look like a complete amateur by a kid who's played no more than a couple of championship games in his career so far.

(much prefer okazaki as an impact sub) I thought they were both a handful when playing TOGETHER Leo is not a sole front man, Okazaki shouldn't be a number 10 Try them both together, I think it could work
foxes21 Posted 12 January 2016 Posted 12 January 2016 Albrighton has been one of our best players of the season wtf
UPinCarolina Posted 12 January 2016 Posted 12 January 2016 Harry Kane looks like he was created by Chris (Simpsons Artist)
Mikey Posted 12 January 2016 Posted 12 January 2016 Gray had a good debut but no way should he be starting in this game. Albrighton has to start - Gray can come on last 20/25 as opposed to Dyer if we're going to change one of the wingers. Gray should start in the replay.
Rasmic123 Posted 12 January 2016 Posted 12 January 2016 Love that all the pundits are once again writing us off. The pressure is all on Spurs. Kasper Simpson Morgan Was Fuchs Mahrez Drinky Kante Albrighton Ulloa Okazaki Subs - Schwarzer Huth De Laet King Gray Inler Vardy like the look of that, although i'd throw benny in instead of was as benny gives us a bit more composure and agility at the back
kingcarr21 Posted 12 January 2016 Posted 12 January 2016 like the look of that, although i'd throw benny in instead of was as benny gives us a bit more composure and agility at the back That's a fair shout. I only included Was because he scored. Spurs defence will have an extra eye on Was at corners which could open up a pocket of space for Ulloa and Morgan to attack. Its also not because Huth has played badly or anything. As far as CB goes were in quite a good position with the 4 we have
Brooksy Posted 12 January 2016 Posted 12 January 2016 Surely we're due a competent ref against these jammy fcuks
Stampy18 Posted 12 January 2016 Posted 12 January 2016 What's getting away from WHL on public transport like?

filbertstreet Posted 12 January 2016 Posted 12 January 2016 What's getting away from WHL on public transport like? pain in the arse, hope you're patient
leicesterseddon Posted 12 January 2016 Posted 12 January 2016 Schmeichel Simpson Morgan Huth Fuchs Albrighton Kante Drinkwater Mahrez Vardy (if fit) Okazaki
Eastwellfox Posted 12 January 2016 Posted 12 January 2016 pain in the arse, hope you're patient lovely we can look forward to that then.
st albans fox Posted 12 January 2016 Posted 12 January 2016 Did we get held in at the end on Sunday or were the gates open ? need to work out whether to try and get a lift away with a Spurs work colleague afterwards.
Foxxed Posted 12 January 2016 Posted 12 January 2016 Would like Shinji to play at no.9 position again, and ideally score, so there's less and less pressure on Vardy to be fit for us to score. Hopefully Gray can get a look in and impress again as having teams worry about, not just Mahrez on the wing, but also Gray, whether he starts or not, would be great for the team. I'd love to see Inler either play or come on and impress again so he's a bit more of an option.
vandamman Posted 12 January 2016 Posted 12 January 2016 Gray will get his chances this season but now's the time for mahrez and albrighton and preferably Okazaki and vards.
