Spurs AWAY League Early thoughts

Must be 442 with Okazaki in the hole for me. Dier is practically a third centre back so we can disrupt him with Okazaki.

That's it, on the ball they effectively play a 3 4 3 formation with Dier covering the 2 at the back and the full backs pushed right up helping the wingers.

Some of the comments on the Spurs forum are quite funny! I would love us to win tonight to put them in their place.

I actually think if we won, some of thier fans would reach breaking point.....bless them :ranieri:  :scarf:

Three and a quarter to be precise MC. Pedants of the world unite. I work in London, so a short walk to St Pancras at 5.30pm, so pre match refreshment, and off we go.

I'd like to see us get back to the 3 goals an away game routine... that was fun lol

Yeah, let's put pochetino on the verge of the sack as well, they were the days.

Interesting game in prospect tonight. Spurs are a very good side with some talented players. I do rate them highly in all fairness and they are having a good season. Pochettino is a good manager and has got together a quality team playing well. Both attacking and defensively they are great as they have talent all around the field.

Hopefully we can carry momentum from Sunday's performance, as the second half especially we were impressive I thought. We were defensively resilient and organised throughout, so there is positives to take into this match.

Hoping for the 3pts.

Is Vardy even going to be in the squad?

You'd have thought unless he's totally fit he'll kept on the bench and only used if we are behind?

Sounds like he'll be at least on the bench. I do worry we've rushed him back too soon.

I'll go with 1-1 (but hope for better). Wouldn't mind if Inler and Gray are both in the starting line up

I'd take a point from tonight and then a win in the cup next week. Not saying I think the the cup is more important, just think we have more of a chance of a win at home next week (although we always seem to do better and WHL and worse at the KP)

Dembele passed fit for Spurs I think, makes this game that bit tougher.

Can't see us winning tonight but hopefully they don't score 3 or 4 past us, if we come away with a draw I'll be very happy.

Going for Spurs 2-1 Leicester

SPURS are one of the teams who have real quality, and are slowly starting to show it.

They are one of the teams from top 6, who I favour for top 4, no matter what happens tonight.

Like Leicester, they need to lay down a marker, to prove this season is made for them, we have

an advantage of no expectations.Spurs will be rightly arrogant, and ready to show their talents,

but they will be nervous.

Should be another tight game. I'm going for another draw, I'd be more confident if I knew Vards was 100%.

Anybody predicting an easy win either way are deluded. Drinkwater and Kante are going to shock them a little bit with how well they work as a pair.

Hope we go 442 rather than have Leo up front on his own. We don't need to show them TOO much respect by going 451.

I'd take a point. Set up nice and solid and be positive from the off. I actually think we are a bit of a bogey side for them, they're very methodical in their approach and don't seem to try to rush anything, it suits us down to the ground as we will just sit there and wait fro exploit the spaces left by the full backs.
