was talking to some friends after the game and this came up, with Schlupp near fitness and Gray signed do we really need Dyer given that he can't get into the team, so the question is simple, would you keep him for the season or send him back to Swansea?

seems a bit pointless with all our options now, but he doesnt seem to be kicking up much fuss and i doubt we're wasting much money or energy having him in the squad. so i basically dont care. just hope if he does get some sub apps or some cup starts that he plays better than he did today.

Depends how much we're paying him or paying for him. If it's not a lot then I'd keep. We have a fairly small squad so at the very least its another body

we have Dodoo though as another wing option, I voted send him back but I'm about 60/40 split in my mind

Might aswell keep him for backup.

Yeah no offence to your original post but I'm not arsed either way to be honest.

On a sidenote imagine where we'd be if he hadn't scored that winner against Villa. Massive goal that started the ball rolling this season

Thought today was his best game for us but I don't think we'll pursue his signature.

Like others have said. Please can we sign Carillo!?

Mahrez, Carillo, Gray and Albrighton is a really solid set of wingers.

Thought it was a season long loan but this performance hardly indicates the move will be permanent, sure have seen it posted that he blows hot and cold.and today he was freezing, feel sorry for the stick RDL getting as Dyer offered little support.

Thought today was his best game for us? Does this mean the same in your language as it does mine because he was utter tripe and has been since he came on against Soton.

Seeing very clearly why Swansea saw him as past it, which shocks me no end after that Villa match.

I'd still have him as a back up option, still has the potential to change a game but hopefully not like he did today haha.

Obviously keep. He's a tidy player a bit out of form which makes sense given he's barely played.

Standard Foxestalk knee jerk because a player has a couple of poor games.

Everyone loves Shinji now and was calling him not good enough a week or two ago. Behave yourselves.

I think Dyer was probably one of the worse players i've seen in a city shirt this season, lost every tackle he went for, distribution was poor and he spent too much time with his hands on his hips ball watching, i used to rate him but on the evidence of his last two games i'm not sure now.

I can't see the sense in weakening the squad, if we don't lose anything by keeping him here there is no reason to send him back.

Penalty today was not really his fault but moving that aside his performance was exceptionally poor.

You thought Dyer played well today? Holy hell.

Really want to like him but he has offered nothing really since coming, other than that Villa goal. His main attribute has always been his pace which I think he has lost slightly. He is just so small and weak.
