Dickov22 Posted 14 January 2016 Posted 14 January 2016 I think this is the biggest win of the season. Wes Morgan, Drinkwater, Kasper and Kante were superb. Okasaki also had a very good game. We didn't deserve it but who cares? This is the biggest chance we will possibly ever have of winning the league and/or champions league qualification. I'd love us to sign a top class centre half because I think Huth's lack of pace leaves us exposed at times. A centre forward who can help Vardy also. Ulloa and Okasaki don't get enough goals . Hopefully we have our eye on someone
VLC86 Posted 14 January 2016 Posted 14 January 2016 Their forum makes for interesting reading http://www.thefightingcock.co.uk/forum/threads/tottenham-hotspur-v-leicester-in-the-league.16506/page-29 They sure as hell didn't deserve the equaliser in the Cup, and for all the possession last night they created less of a threat than we did. How does a lot of meaningless passes constitute "bumfvcking"? Absolute gold hahaha. Not entirely sure how most of them think we didn't have a chance but a great read anyway.
Dickov22 Posted 14 January 2016 Posted 14 January 2016 Absolute gold hahaha. Not entirely sure how most of them think we didn't have a chance but a great read anyway. Hilarious. We had quite a few chances. Vardy came close and I remember one occasion where we had three consecutive chances to score but the ball just wouldn't go in
VLC86 Posted 14 January 2016 Posted 14 January 2016 Hilarious. We had quite a few chances. Vardy came close and I remember one occasion where we had three consecutive chances to score but the ball just wouldn't go in Okazaki had one that then fell to Kante. The equivalent for them was only when Kane hit the bar, either way we won so no fuchs given.
surrifox Posted 14 January 2016 Posted 14 January 2016 The PL Pass commentators were spot on about Ulloa mucking up their plans for dealing with corners. He deserves big credit for drawing them away to give Huth the chance. That is brilliant - Alderwreld (?) and Dier ballroom dancing with each other whilst an unmarked Huth heads in !
ARM1968 Posted 14 January 2016 Posted 14 January 2016 Great result, mediocre game. I'll take that for the rest of the season. Some good individual performances. As a whole though it was more or less the perfect away performance. Buzzing.
CosbehFox Posted 14 January 2016 Posted 14 January 2016 Anyone saying lucky is talking rubbish. We had more opportunities than them in the 18 yard box.
Sooper Steve's shin Posted 14 January 2016 Posted 14 January 2016 Are we very good at defending corners or were Spurs particularly shite at them? I think they had about 20, but by the end I was pretty relaxed about them - we didn't look like conceding.
M0901 Posted 14 January 2016 Posted 14 January 2016 Unless I'm wrong, 1 goal conceded in 4 league games is a testament to our back 4/5. Especially as we've played Liverpool, Man City and Spurs in that time. Can't fault them, we've proved the clichéd "Leicester leak goals" theory wrong. What a remarkable season

How does a lot of meaningless passes constitute "bumfvcking"? Thanks for the link mate! A lot of healthy laughter guaranteed from reading that! (as long as one is Leicester supporter ) There's a proper meltdown there Some of their fans are fair and dignified in defeat, while others... This one's precious: Stag, Yesterday at 9:40 PM Dont understand the fuss about this Leicester side on these past two showings... Just seems its two touches back then wallop it. All counter and nothing else... I mean it works for them and good luck to them (and they all work hard for each other) but surely they cant do this style every week? Adorable those "big team" fans, aren't they? Of course kids, possession football is very tasty, nutritious and good for your eyes, Maurizio and even your uncle Pep from Munich says so! No need to burst your bubble by looking at league table
Hammered Posted 14 January 2016 Posted 14 January 2016 I can't stop laughing The Dane, Yesterday at 9:46 PM Knowing us we'll **** up against Sunderland as well Typical Yid
Babylon Posted 14 January 2016 Posted 14 January 2016 A couple of fans on the Tottenham forum seem to forget that having lots of shots from distance are not scoring chances. Tottenham had 21 shots last night but only 2-3 inside the box and only 1 clear cut chance. We had 10 shots but created 2 clear chances (Kante first half and the bulk of about 4 shots together second half). You can have chances without having a shot and you can have a shot without having a chance. Don't forget the Vardy turn and shot from about 6 yards out that Kane blocked last second! That was a pretty clear chance.
Adster Posted 14 January 2016 Posted 14 January 2016 When will fans of other clubs realise that possession means absolute **** ALL? Just because you passed it around your back 4 for 45 ****ing minutes doesn't mean you deserve the win the ****ing game. Tottenham had much more possession than us yesterday and it was still US who had the better chances. It's laughable. Jesus.
Fennec-Fox Posted 14 January 2016 Posted 14 January 2016 Vert important win. Would boost the confidence of the defence not only to be solid but to score goals as well, and lift the pressure off the attack. It doesn't matter who score as long as the team scores it's about the team and performing as a solid unit is what pays devidens in the end. Leicester certainly improved defensively the Italian way but always play same style, even though sometimes it's appear more passive and defensive than active and attacking it's ok cause heyyyy it's working so all fans must tolerate and accept some low moments in the games sometimes a

Guest MarshallForEngland Posted 14 January 2016 Posted 14 January 2016 Has anyone else watched the Huth header about 1000 times since last night or is it just me?

The Blur Posted 14 January 2016 Posted 14 January 2016 The icing on the cake for me is that Liverpool and Arsenal's thrilling draw has took lot of attention away from us and on them which suited us absolutely fine.
Guest MarshallForEngland Posted 14 January 2016 Posted 14 January 2016 I agree with those who have likened this win to some of the away wins in our Championship winning season. QPR definitely but for me it was a lot like the the 1-0 away at Leeds when Nuge scored a late winner. Leeds had battered us for parts of the game, McCormack and hit the post and had a 1 on 1 with Kasper saved (after that horrendous Konch backpass) and we hit them with a sucker punch at the end. Pearson said it was about "finding different ways to win games" and that's what we are doing this year.
STUHILL Posted 14 January 2016 Posted 14 January 2016 Just brilliant. Can't believe how solid we look in defence. Teams have so much of the ball against us but time and time again we block shots or break up their attacks with interceptions and look to counter with quality and speed. The back 4 have been sensational and considering these are the same players (bar Fuchs) from last season, Claudio has to take massive credit for making us so solid and turning these four into, on current form, the meanest defence in the league. I even saw Mahrez yesterday charging back to help in defence and putting pressure on Alli before one of his shots.
ARM1968 Posted 14 January 2016 Posted 14 January 2016 Thefartingcock forum is genuinely amusing. Couple of reasonable posters, some who would fit right in here with OTT histrionics and a large number of utter bellwhips. The genuinely held belief that they should have won because they are a big side, along with the FACT that they dominated the game, is astonishing. Never liked them as a club but they do have some decent players and I consider their manager to be one of the best around.
