"For them it was difficult to come inside us" Claudio Ranieri. lol lol

Harry Kane had a flop on apparently the poor lad has trouble in that area.

Thought Leo was superb in seeing the game out tonight. That might be his role to be honest. Start Shinji and bring Leo on to hold it up later. Huth wouldn't have been unmarked if Ulloa wasn't on imo

Does seem to be Ulloa's role a fair bit these days.

Not sure why King came on and Okazaki off though.

CAN people now leave, Kasper alone, he aint the worlds no1, not top 5,but by god he his a damn good shot stopper,

and tbf, in many games over the years.

I dont want a replacement, just 1 or 2 younger GKs for cover.

Not his biggest fan but I think you will find he his top 2 lol

What a terrific game and what an incredible team we showed ourselves once more. I was watching in the Anstey Sports bar and less than two minutes before our goal had remarked that it was about time Huth used that height and strength of his to make his presence felt.

Full marks to those who worked to take the markers away but what an inch perfect header and what a perfect climax to the evening. Spurs are a good side no question but to see their manager walking round in a daze, completely perplexed as to what to do next just said it all.

The commentator got it right when he said how strong we'd be in the second half and so it proved. We took everything Spurs had to throw at us and gradually found gaps ourselves in the formidable but high-line Spurs defence.

Okay, that was a fabulous save from Kasper however fortuitous. Goalkeepers are there to stop the ball going into the net and in spreading himself in the manner of his father, he somehow did just that to foil one of the most deadly striker in the League. But we weren't without chances even before our winner.

Even Drinky went close with a collectors item volley which itself brought a good save and then the otherwise excellent Ulloa had the best of three chances which fell to different players in rapid succession as the ball was flipped around the Spurs defence as if on an open air pinball machine.

Vardy had half chances too but tonight's was a squad victory at its best and so well deserved. Full marks as well to the referee who did the game such good service by not becoming pedantic, letting the game flow and refereeing both consistently and fairly which certainly set an example to the arsehole who robbed us in the weekend's cup match.

Spurs have so many players who present a danger but our organisation, commitment and sheer bloody mindedness was inspiring. Liverpool's late equaliser against Arsenal only served to put brandy on the cake (I hate icing!) and complete a fabulous evening's entertainment with as near as perfect an outcome as I could hope for.

Kasper had to be MoM for me. Not because he had that many saves to make but because one was very close to being a footballing miracle and some of the others were equally important in a game you always knew was going to be decided by the narrowest of margins.

Outfield MoM was difficult. The game was never easy for anyone but I thought Fuchs as vitally influencial as anyone in what proved a formidable back line, ably protected by Kante, Drinkwater and others for all that our midfield struggled desperately for the time and space needed to make an impression except in smalish spells which increased as the game  progressed.

Once King came on and the goal was secured I felt we'd see it through because, once again, he brought the one-and-two-touch simplicity to our passing that was so badly needed after the attrition of what went before.

Indivudally I wouldn't rate anyone but Kasper more than 8 but as a team it had to be a 10. Spurs don't get beaten at home very often (and with what I saw Sunday it's hardly surprising but tonight's was not only 100% deserved but another  major step on what is shaping up a wondrous journey.

Season defining game for me.

Reminded me of QPR away from our Championship winning season.

We can pull this off folks, top 4 is definitely on now. Mentally we're totally in the right place for this - brilliant mentality and application to the game. Superb. Brilliant.

Dead right for me!

For how many years have we screwed up when things got tough- tonight our resiliance(sp) was exceptional. We are incredibly hard to beat.

Jeez...emotionally drained (again!). I'm not sure that I can do this anymore :frantics:
