Spurs Away Post Match - 1-0

Opposing teams have found ways to contain our attacking force in Vardy and Mahrez better than at the start of the season. They know what threat they are and have taken adequate measures in order to take both out of games as quickly and effective as possible.

It still doesn't always work, but the goals did dry up lately and I think it wasn't just down to fatigue or the relentless fixture list.

However, we've now turned our weakness into our most dangerous asset as we've seemingly switched attention from attack to defense. This was the third clean sheet in the league in a row and both Wasilewski (in the FA Cup) and now Huth have chipped in with some vital goals.

This should make us even more threatening from all sorts of positions and in turn allow our midfield and striking force to blossom again. Hopefully, we can see that coming to fruition as early as Saturday, away at the Villa.

When did we become good at wet pieces again? We're scoring from corners and hardly conceding from them anymore. We're even taking the mick by putting 4ft Kanté on their centre back.

I only saw the MOTD highlights, but was pleased to see Drinky getting 2 or 3 decent shots off last night.

If opponents are marking Vardy more tightly and putting 2-3 men on Mahrez, it should allow more opportunities to our central midfielders, so it would be good if they could take advantage. Hopefully Drinky, N'Golo & co have been doing intensive shooting practice.

Kante has a hell of a leap, so he's surprisingly decent in the air for a little chap. Often competitive in midfield aerial tussles against midfielders 4-6 inches taller than him.

This is true, though i'd still fancy the opposition to win more than they lose against him.

He had me laughing like a mad man when an attack broke down on the edge of the box. The ball went up in the air and fell into a huddle of 3 of their players and Kanté, next minute you just see little kanté scampering out of the huddle with the ball like it was no big deal.

What a brilliant result. Spurs will feel hard done by but who cares f*** them.

Loved that header from Huth. Feet planted, back arched and BANG. Proper old school header that you never see. I had a bet on drinky 1st goal and how close I was to getting it. Lloris is such a top quality keeper.

Kasper was MOTM for me. What a performance. Now onto Villa who are awful. Must take it seriously though. They will have a little confidence now but I still fancy a win. COYB

That was one of my favourite final whistles for a very long time. Amazing feeling to stand on the platform at WHL station afterwards surrounded by Spurs fans with a massive grin on my face.

What a team. What a season. I didn't think it could get any better after the greatest escape. Well...

Can't believe Loris saved Drinky's effort last night. He's due a stunner in the next few games.

Drinks has got an incredible strike .. he just NEVER scores.

Danoir, Yesterday at 9:40 PM

We have absolutely bum****ed those c*nts in 2 ****ing games, and we're coming away from it with a draw and a loss? ****ing bullshit.

They sure as hell didn't deserve the equaliser in the Cup, and for all the possession last night they created less of a threat than we did. How does a lot of meaningless passes constitute "bumfvcking"?

A couple of fans on the Tottenham forum seem to forget that having lots of shots from distance are not scoring chances. Tottenham had 21 shots last night but only 2-3 inside the box and only 1 clear cut chance. We had 10 shots but created 2 clear chances (Kante first half and the bulk of about 4 shots together second half). You can have chances without having a shot and you can have a shot without having a chance.

think that's my favourite win of the season, important to beat those around you and sweet justice to rob them after they robbed us in the cup.

Absolutely makes up for Sunday and then some, tottenham must be loving the prospect of playing us again!

Season defining game for me.

Reminded me of QPR away from our Championship winning season.

We can pull this off folks, top 4 is definitely on now. Mentally we're totally in the right place for this - brilliant mentality and application to the game. Superb. Brilliant.

Thats a good comparison. Similar game in context and in how it progressed. I'd have felt rather unsecure in our top four position if we'd lost.

Haha - good might be pushing it, but improved, definitely. And we're using more variety that has clearly been practiced. Long may it continue because it can make a difference.

Theres a bit missing off the end of this gif Spuds fans! Sort it out.

The PL Pass commentators were spot on about Ulloa mucking up their plans for dealing with corners. He deserves big credit for drawing them away to give Huth the chance.

It's more the defending of them that has impressed me, I used to panic every time we conceded a corner. Now we concede about 10-15 every game and I never worry. We're still not as formidable, or ever will be with our small team, as we were under MON at set pieces. It's nice to see us put a few away recently though.

Just watched the highlights now, from MOTD in terms of chances it seemed fairly even, with them probably having the best with Kane. We created our fair share though. We must make it really easy for the editors of MOTD, just show any parts where Leicester have the ball in the oppositions third haha.

Surprised the ref didn't blow up for a foul when Alderweirald ran into Dier considering all the poor refereeing decisions about last night.

What an absolutely super win. The best of the season for sure. A real 'away' performance that proves again we're probably the best off the ball team in the division. This result along with others has put us back in the title race, let alone the top four race.

We debunk these myths by the week. Vardy & Mahrez possibly our two weakest players on the night and we've still won away at Spurs.

We're too savvy to not finish around the top. It's amazing.

I think we worry about other teams too much and not think how much teams are frightened of us. How many times did I see or hear 'Leicester have the toughest game tonight', but I didn't see anyone say 'Tottingham have the toughest game tonight'. We are a really good side who play for each other and have great spirit and will to win. Love it.

As for Tottingham, with their dreadful 'thunderbirds are go' kit and their deluded horrible fans (just read their forum if you think I'm over the top), they are overrated due to massive publicity and love ins with Woy and the media. I love that we beat them.

****ing hate Spurs their fans and usually manager too.

Never known a club like them think they're the bollocks and just moan and then whinge constantly

****ing appeal for everything in the game and just a lot of cheating ****s

Can moan about possession all they want

I've got a massive disliking for Spurs, hate the fans with a passion they know absolutely bugger all about anything outside of their club and seem to think they're one of the biggest clubs. I want to punch Vertonghen's stupid little beaver face. I hate their name. I hate the little throwaway slogans they have printed around the stands. I hate Kane and the media drooling over him. I hate the stupid unnecessary diagonal stripe on their home kit

I thought Potch was ok before now but his post-match comments have pissed me off. Praying they finish 5th or lower. Come on the Hammers!
