Mahrez is so much like Messi he takes penalties as badly as him. Not a particularly enthralling half but could be 2-1 up. Got 40 on us to win and over 2.5 goals. So pretty annoyed with Riyad atm.

AHHHHHHHHHHH gone from really enjoying the game to just being pissed off. I can just see them scoring a jammy goal

He stays on his feet a lot more and his decision-making is so much better. He takes an extra fraction of a second and usually finds a pass if he has nothing else on. He doesn't seem so frantic and panicked on the ball now. We defo can't complain about the half overall. Agree that Mahrez shouldn't be on penalties.

sdb Posted 16 January 2016 Posted 16 January 2016 Strange 1st half. We looked a little bit afraid to try and be our best at times. A lot of misplaced passes, another terrible Mahrez penalty...but we do lead. Definite pen. Should that not be a red though? It's either both or neither surely???

dorsetboy Posted 16 January 2016 Posted 16 January 2016 im not knocking mahrez but it seems the last 4 games his enthusiam has weened and his desire to run at players with dribbles has been replaced with a slower approach looking for the killer pass ? infact the whole team the last few games does not seem as aggresive . maybe tiredness is now starting to set in and claudio has told them to slow down a bit and start to manage the game in a different way
