AyewJoking Posted 25 February 2016 Posted 25 February 2016 Start Wasilewski and bring Amartey on when we're 3-0 up.
Wymsey Posted 25 February 2016 Posted 25 February 2016 Quite forgotten we've signed him. But, currently, never change a successful side - Simpson should be alright considering the next few opponents.

Wymsey Posted 25 February 2016 Posted 25 February 2016 Forgot he was. Would give Albrighton a go at RB, though, then.

filbertway Posted 26 February 2016 Posted 26 February 2016 he's banned aswell. Got a source for that? I feel it's really weird that nobody would have mentioned it and only you know about it? Also Albrighton at right back is a terrible idea, his positioning is somehow worse than Wasilewski's

Wasyls Pec Deck Posted 26 February 2016 Posted 26 February 2016 It might be best though for our right side to have a bit of pace, to nullify Brady's threat but also for our own attacks. If Was plays he should be told never to leave his own half, and no silly charges
shen Posted 26 February 2016 Posted 26 February 2016 It's a bit of a worry chucking in Amartey if he's not quite ready as the left wing is probably Norwich main threat with Brady You'd feel much safer with Wasilewski breaking from the ranks then? FC Midtjylland beat Man Utd in their first game post-winter break. After more than four weeks of intensive training with us, I fail to see why Amartey wouldn't be fit enough to start. It's not like Was has immense amounts of match training either.
Hubert Posted 26 February 2016 Posted 26 February 2016 We signed Amartey and almost immediately shipped De Laet (and Benalouane) out on loan. I'd be amazed if he doesn't play.
Bryn Posted 26 February 2016 Posted 26 February 2016 Got to play Amartey, if he's not ready to go in after 2 weeks training at home to Norwich c, when will he be?
Hubert Posted 26 February 2016 Posted 26 February 2016 Got to play Amartey, if he's not ready to go in after 2 weeks training at home to Norwich c, when will he be? Never mind two weeks, we signed him over a month ago. He's basically had an entire pre-season, albeit with only one actual game in it.
walkerleeds Posted 26 February 2016 Posted 26 February 2016 Would be really strange if Amartey doesn't play in this one tbh. However, I wouldn't be against Wasyl playing and us switching between 4-4-2 and 3-5-2 when we are on the attack. We definitely have the players capable of playing this fluent system.
Wolfox Posted 27 February 2016 Posted 27 February 2016 A baptism of fire to be fair, but, on the whole I was encouraged He has a nice first touch... He can pass and keep it simple (a couple went a little wayward) He tried to get forward, but, maybe the nerves got a little better of him as he was maybe lacking a little ambition when he could've backed his obvious pace and power Only got caught out once from memory and maybe didn't read a couple of things as he might have done Simpson will be back for sure, but, I am quietly encouraged...
shen Posted 27 February 2016 Posted 27 February 2016 A baptism of fire to be fair, but, on the whole I was encouraged I'm sorry, but that was anything but a 'baptism of fire'. Coming into a well-oiled machine of a team that's top of the league playing at home against a struggling team who have yet to keep a clean sheet on the road. The only way it would have been any easier was if he came on from the bench when we were 3 or more goals up.
Sharpe's Fox Posted 27 February 2016 Posted 27 February 2016 Can't complain because we won, good on Amartey slotting in and keeping a clean sheet.
Fox92 Posted 27 February 2016 Posted 27 February 2016 Did well. Looked nervous but it was his debut at a young age. Probably not his preferred position either. I'm glad he played over Wasilewski.

Really? 21 Big money move Only played in Scandanavia Gets told he's staring for his new team who are competing to win the league for the first time in their history That's a big ask in my opinion!
Guest CityFan 06 Posted 27 February 2016 Posted 27 February 2016 I thought he did well today at RB considering it was his debut. Looks promising and I think he has the potential to really develop alongside the players we have in our squad.
