katieakita Posted 24 January 2016 Posted 24 January 2016 Chelski will take points off many of our rivals. Even if we do dislike them.
ronnup Posted 24 January 2016 Posted 24 January 2016 When do we start actually thinking it's actually possible? For real. Because I don't. But Christ it's getting silly isn't it.
The Fox Covert Posted 24 January 2016 Posted 24 January 2016 If you want a laugh for a minute have a look at Arse's fans forum. They are completely stunned that Chelsea beat them and can't get over us now being three points clear. Here is a prize comment about us from arsenal-mania. 'They're kinda like when you first get a puppy. They're cute for a short period but after a while they become very irritating. ****ting and pissing everywhere and going around biting everything.'
st albans fox Posted 24 January 2016 Posted 24 January 2016 The only side averaging more than 2 points per game !
Webbo Posted 24 January 2016 Posted 24 January 2016 We're going to be top of the Premiership coming into February. Just let that sink in for a bit... Being 10 points clear of fifth it's very likely we'll be top 4 going out of February as well.
Thracian Posted 24 January 2016 Posted 24 January 2016 Let's just enjoy it, keep being ourselves and work even harder on the details to be even better. Contain and destroy like Saturday, not contain and sit back ever deeper hoping we come out with something. I'm not talking recklessness here but pressing forf the ball and attacking in force at every opportunity when we get it. Rather than concerning ourselves with how many points we might have to spare, lets focus on stretching the lead we've got at the top. If it's been hard work climbing to the top let's make it even harder work for those trying to catch us. No compromises, no concessions, no self doubts. Let's show what "fearless" means and win this league.

fuchsntf Posted 24 January 2016 Posted 24 January 2016 Chelski will take points off many of our rivals. Even if we do dislike them. HEY, I dont dislike Chelsea...!!! Might hate them if they beat us in our last game.!!!
Webbo Posted 24 January 2016 Posted 24 January 2016 HEY, I dont dislike Chelsea...!!! Might hate them if they beat us in our last game.!!! If it comes to the last match, would Chelsea throw it to stop Arsenal?
Xen Posted 24 January 2016 Posted 24 January 2016 Best thing about this is that being top and 3pts clear as the transfer window comes to a close is going to be a fantastic pull for any prospective signings. That top striker we've supposedly been looking for may well be more tempted with us on the summit than if we were 2nd/3rd.
Thracian Posted 24 January 2016 Posted 24 January 2016 If it comes to the last match, would Chelsea throw it to stop Arsenal? I'd certainly hope not. I want us to win this fair and square and see a fabulous team rewarded for a fantastic effort- not end up tarnished in controversy.
kingfox Posted 24 January 2016 Posted 24 January 2016 The next three games are massive, if we can pick up 4+ points from those games then we have a bloody good chance. Getting excited at this stage though is silly.
bovril Posted 24 January 2016 Posted 24 January 2016 Getting excited at this stage though is silly. Nah, it's normal.
bluebeau Posted 24 January 2016 Posted 24 January 2016 When do we start actually thinking it's actually possible? For real. Because I don't. But Christ it's getting silly isn't it. Talking of Christ, it states in The Holy Bible that The Messiah would return one day. Who the Hell could have predicted that he would be in charge at the King Power?
atomicfox Posted 24 January 2016 Posted 24 January 2016 How could you not get excited?,fifteen games to go and we're top and yes,it could happen we've a decent side ,we're lucky and the top clubs all have issues.ask yourselves why can't we?.

Because I don't want to tempt fate. I don't want to get my hopes up. I just want to enjoy the ride while it lasts.

We are looking most likely at the moment. We are the best team in the country at the moment. But I still can't believe we won't drop at some point. Experience and strength of squad has to tell at some point, surely?
Koke Posted 24 January 2016 Posted 24 January 2016 Spurs fans are kicking themselves saying if they had beaten us they'd be top. Ifs and buts. If we hadn't missed penalties and beaten Bournemouth and Villa we'd be 7 points clear.
foxinsox Posted 24 January 2016 Posted 24 January 2016 On Nov 21 I took a picture of the table at half time, with us top. I wasn't certain we would be there at the end of the match. Since then we have been top more than not. Arsenal are quite beatable at home. We can do it. Howabout 9 from 9? That would be tasty...
Jacnah Posted 24 January 2016 Posted 24 January 2016 Anyone wanting proof that some football fans are fickle should look no further than the range of thread titles over the last 7-10 days on Foxestalk. fixed that for you
Julian Joachim Jr Shabadoo Posted 24 January 2016 Posted 24 January 2016 Being 10 points clear of fifth it's very likely we'll be top 4 going out of February as well.Great point - to win the league would be immense, but for us to finish top 4 would still be dreamland and it's starting to actually look likely rather than just a possibilityWho else could finish 4th - Manchester United? Can't score. West Ham? Too inconsistent. Liverpool? They conceded 4 goals against Norwich FFS. Not only would any of these have to really buck their ideas up, we'd have to have a torrid time from now until May and I can't see that happening: - Vardy is clearly recovering - our performance against Stoke was us back to our best - Gray, Amartey in (possibly extras) and Schlupp, James will be available soon - not having to feature in any other competitions give us more rest I am well excited and no doubt the whole club is too
