Still Top of the League!

If you want a laugh for a minute have a look at Arse's fans forum. They are completely stunned that Chelsea beat them and can't get over us now being three points clear.

Here is a prize comment about us from arsenal-mania.

'They're kinda like when you first get a puppy. They're cute for a short period but after a while they become very irritating. ****ting and pissing everywhere and going around biting everything.'

This should be our motivation to go on and win the flipping league

Arrogant Arsenal pricks

Ranieri is showing plenty of managers up this season. No moaning about officials every week, about fixture schedules, about expectation, lack of money for the squad- just positive thinking, a way of playing that suits us, getting the very best out of the squad and looks like he's enjoying his job.

Was listening to the preview of the Arsenal game on Five Live and they were discussing the sale of Cech to Arsenal. Alan Green said:"With all respect to Leicester if Chelsea had sold Cech to them it wouldn't have mattered. But I can't understand why they sold to a direct rival." Oh, it would be so sweet if we could actually do this, even if the media headlines would no doubt be focused on the failings of the so called big clubs.

I have this weird apparition where somewhere in Galilea, the three just kings Kanté, Benalouane and Inler, led by the Ian "This is our year" Stringer star are roaming the desert on camels to deliver the goods to the LCFC crib with Claudio "Joseph" Ranieri and Steve "Maria" Walsh just having given birth to the Premier League trophy.

This.... great post!

If it comes to the last match, would Chelsea throw it to stop Arsenal?

I doubt they would throw it, but if they have nothing to play for they will probably throw a few kids on and any internationals will probably be taking it easy with the Euros coming up. Hopefully Chelsea are in the FA cup final too.

I don't see the relevance of that. If Chelsea sold Cech to us last summer and we were in this position then reactions would be along the lines of "well shit, how did that happen?" - at the start of the season no-one would seriously have had us in a title challenge, arsenal are always up there, so chelsea strengthened a traditional title challenger, knowing they'd be up there. Even if clairvoyancy was a genuine thing, people would still have been dismissing us as title challengers.

I am expecting to wake up and find it has all been a dream and we really are bottom 10 points away from safety with another Great Escape to look forward to.

A top top man, we really are fortunate to have him here.

He even shakes all the presses hands before his pre match conferences. Gentleman of the highest order.

Arsenal fans!!...I know several of 'em and not one has any kind of football knowledge or a connection to the area.

Same goes for Liverpool, Chelsea and Man Utd.

I have 100% more respect for fans of teams like Bournmouth, Barnet, leyton Orient etc.

We already have one big thread that's almost entirely us getting wound up by other teams' fans; we don't need two.

Just imagine if we had to beat Chelsea on the last day of the season to secure top spot ahead of Arsenal. Do they think Chelsea would lose to stop Arsenal from winning it?

If we are top by the end of February then I will seriously start believing in the title.

Aguero seem to be getting back to form and that's worrying.

I don't think they'd go out with the intention of losing but I couldn't imagine them giving it 100%, especially if they had an FA cup final to look forward to.

Imagine if we secured the title the game before at home to Everton, and we get a guard of honour at Stamford Bridge on the last game.

Unreal.

But it's in our hands! 15 games left and it's ours to lose... :/

It's also in Arsenal and Man City's hands though isn't it? If we lose to both of them and they both win their remaining games?

I told you all that Arsenal will wet the bed, trust me.. they bottled the prem for 12 years in a row, they have been 1st many seasons and then ended up fighting for 3rd and 4th place. We really have a great chance for the prem title, I am serious.. 15 games left for us,  and the rest all have European and FA cup games to focus on too.

A great point about officials. I wonder if referees are slightly and subconsciously favouring us because of this? I know they shouldn't, but it is human nature to be nicer to people who don't tell your wrong, dire, terrible, awful, diabolical, etc, etc after every match, like nearly all the other managers do? Has anyone else noticed Mike Dean, who Pearson called 'the most arrogant man', has been quite good in our games since NP went? I can't remember Ranieri moaning about any official this season, in fact when asked about a dodgy decision he usually says 'the referee made the decision, so it was right'

You realise the players of these clubs won't really care like the fans don't you?
