teblin Posted 1 February 2016 Posted 1 February 2016 Only takes an hour on the train. I've heard of this thing called the internet and a scanner too.
Guest Posted 1 February 2016 Posted 1 February 2016 so now cuz the helicopter cant take off we aint buying him!?Just saw a helicopter go over and it's crazily windy here. They can still fly!
Matt Posted 1 February 2016 Posted 1 February 2016 Only takes an hour on the train. I've heard of this thing called the internet and a scanner too. I'm not being funny it doesn't even take that long to drive ffs! Stop being so flash blaming it on the chopper! There are other means of transport all viable to get this deal done in the time left.
filbertstreet Posted 1 February 2016 Posted 1 February 2016 I'm off to Stamford Bridge to give him a lift then
Max Power Posted 1 February 2016 Posted 1 February 2016 Would Loic Remy dying in a helicopter crash be a better deadline story than the purple dildo in the ear of that reporter?
psychonaut Posted 1 February 2016 Posted 1 February 2016 Whats a few months wages at 80k or whatever he's on surplus to what we would like to pay?! - even at a 40k wage cap - thats an extra 40k a week times 20 weeks - thats 800k! In a title race thats sweet fa! Maybe im massively over simplifying it but wages cant be -that- much of an issue. Pay the man and lets end all this ****in about
Corky Posted 1 February 2016 Posted 1 February 2016 Loan would be fine and preferable for me. If he adds six or seven crucial goals then goes back I'm happy with that. He has a point to prove and we could benefit from it without breaking the bank.
Swiper Posted 1 February 2016 Posted 1 February 2016 Not sure how to post Tweets while I'm mobile but a so-called freelance journalist @JFergusonSPORT tweeted that Remy will sign loan deal for us before the deadline. 7,000+ followers. He might be no more legit than Indy but who knows?
SecretPro Posted 1 February 2016 Posted 1 February 2016 Anythings better than being bored to death with all this 'pep' chat. It's transfer deadline day, stop banging on about a managerial change that 90% of the country don't give a **** about and 100% of the Country knew was happening.

I wasn't too keen on this originally, but the developments through the day, i.e - Him wanting a loan because he has a point to prove and wants to play for his place at Chelsea next year means he would be right up for it here means a loan would be great for us and him. Get him in, please!
KP Fox Posted 1 February 2016 Posted 1 February 2016 Would Loic Remy dying in a helicopter crash be a better deadline story than the purple dildo in the ear of that reporter? Deadline story haha pardon your pun

A loan deal would work well because if he does well in his time here, scores goals and likes it here in general, he may consider staying but if not it can still be those six or seven goals that can be enough to secure a champions league spot, or even the title. He's been my first choice pretty much from the start.
dylanlegend Posted 1 February 2016 Posted 1 February 2016 What if we sign him on loan, he scores 15 goals in 15 games and we need 3 points against Chelsea for the title last game of the season.... But he's can't play against his parent club.

coalvillefox Posted 1 February 2016 Posted 1 February 2016 Saj Chowdhury BBC Sport Posted at 19:20 "Chelsea's misfit striker Falcao, on season-long loan from Monaco, could have returned to former club Atletico Madrid in January. However, that possibility was scuppered by Atletico striker Jackson Martinez's failure to seal a move to China. Monaco expect the 29-year-old to remain at Stamford Bridge until the summer."
Eastwellfox Posted 1 February 2016 Posted 1 February 2016 Remy has never stated that he doesn't want to sign for us. He just wants to stay at Chelsea and fight for his place next season. I think that's fair enough. It's now down to us to convince him to join. Are you kidding. Why the fecking ell do we want a bloke who only wants to join us to get game time and then go back to Chelsea. What message does that send to our permanent squad and he by making this statement believes that he would just walk into the starting 11. We are better than this either he joins on a permament deal and fights for a place or does one as far as I am concerned. He clearly believes that we are just a stepping stone to kick start his career again. We are Leicester City, we are top of the premier league and we are champions league !!!!
Fez of Mahrez Posted 1 February 2016 Posted 1 February 2016 Has anyone pointed out Remy has scored more than Okazaki at the KP this season and the same number as Ulloa?

Pretty sure Huth joined on loan in January with the scope of more opportunities and game time, became an integral part of the team and joined permanently. Who's to say Remy won't do the same?

queensguardfox Posted 1 February 2016 Posted 1 February 2016 Quietly confident deal for remy will go through.
Spence Posted 1 February 2016 Posted 1 February 2016 doubt we'd pay all his wages anyway, we'll pay 40K chelsea pay 40K… great loan deal possible. that would be the best possible outcome for us
Adster Posted 1 February 2016 Posted 1 February 2016 Quietly confident deal for remy will go through. This definitely makes me more confident now.
