CloudFox Posted 1 February 2016 Posted 1 February 2016 The biggest joke about this is Stoke offered him to us, they don't even want him yet he's good enough for a title challenger Schalke didn't want Fuchs. Villa didn't want Albrighton. Wednesday released Vardy. ...and by all accounts, Leeds didn't want Schmeichel. Funny that. We have always thrived with players others did not see the potential in. So why not Diouf?
escos Posted 1 February 2016 Posted 1 February 2016 Big, strong, quick. Could do a lot worse as a back up striker. We may be top of the league but we are still a relatively small club in the premier league. We don't pay big wages so can't expect big players.
Robin JD Popley Posted 1 February 2016 Posted 1 February 2016 I'd genuinely rather take Crouch. At least then I could upgrade my ticket to the posh seats and hit on his mrs
Mark_w Posted 1 February 2016 Posted 1 February 2016 Maybe wait until you've seen him playing in this team, should this happen, before you crucify him.
KingKante Posted 1 February 2016 Posted 1 February 2016 Rather recall kramaric then spend millions on this chap
jayfox26 Posted 1 February 2016 Posted 1 February 2016 So the rumours have gone from Lacazette to Musa to Remy to Gayle to Diouf. At this rate we'll end up with Heskey!
SecretPro Posted 1 February 2016 Posted 1 February 2016 If it's him so be it, just slightly disappointed in the lack of ambition but he could be OK for us, just have to wait and see I guess.
EnderbyFox Posted 1 February 2016 Posted 1 February 2016 http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/football/teams/stoke-city/12132021/Stoke-City-scrap-club-record-move-for-Giannelli-Imbula-and-reject-10million-offer-for-Mame-Diouf.html They rejected 10 million for him yesterday, how much are we offering?
baldeagle Posted 1 February 2016 Posted 1 February 2016 It's says been offered . Iv been offered PPI refund before I didn't take tha either
benpicko Posted 1 February 2016 Posted 1 February 2016 Schalke didn't want Fuchs. Villa didn't want Albrighton. Wednesday released Vardy. ...and by all accounts, Leeds didn't want Schmeichel. Funny that. We have always thrived with players others did not see the potential in. So why not Diouf? Because we scouted all of those and Diouf's apparently being 'offered' to us
4everfox Posted 1 February 2016 Posted 1 February 2016 Just because there's money in the coffers doesn't mean we shouldn't play safe with FFP and balance the books. At the end of the day this is a business and still needs to be run like one. Hence why I hope we don't end up overpaying for an average striker because we've left it so late This is no time to play safe. This is probably the only opportunity we will ever get to win the Premier League. If ever there was a time to go all in this is it.
Kitchandro Posted 1 February 2016 Posted 1 February 2016 Big, strong, quick. Could do a lot worse as a back up striker. We may be top of the league but we are still a relatively small club in the premier league. We don't pay big wages so can't expect big players. Compared to Arsenal & Man Utd yes, not compared to Stoke. I'm not looking for Ibrahimovic here but we can do better than this guy.
SecretPro Posted 1 February 2016 Posted 1 February 2016 Dorsett now saying it's more likely a loan deal. Oh dear Leicester city. Didn't even warm the bench for the 18 man FA cup squad.
ramboacdc Posted 1 February 2016 Posted 1 February 2016 posting this in both: listening to remys demands it makes me realise i hate the money grabbing ****! as for dijouf......id rather get kramaric back
Finnaldo Posted 1 February 2016 Posted 1 February 2016 If we're not willing to pay £20 million for Musa but will dish out £10 million+ for Diouf then I don't even know.
HankMarvin Posted 1 February 2016 Posted 1 February 2016 Schalke didn't want Fuchs. Villa didn't want Albrighton. Wednesday released Vardy. ...and by all accounts, Leeds didn't want Schmeichel. Funny that. We have always thrived with players others did not see the potential in. So why not Diouf? Because his about 10th choice
Fez of Mahrez Posted 1 February 2016 Posted 1 February 2016 Amazing rustling from Dorsett there. "Diouf wants to get some first team minutes but will Stoke let one of their top level strikers go?" We're not still in the Championship, Rob.
sphericalfox Posted 1 February 2016 Posted 1 February 2016 in fairness last year Diouf was in the top ten strikers in Fantasy Football for most of last year. I hope if we do bring him in it's a loaner.
roblcfc84 Posted 1 February 2016 Posted 1 February 2016 Shows that we are for now still not going o sign to type of striker we think we should be - that said some of the names on here are ludicrous - we do need to be realistic and remy should be our number one target now
stevelcfc Posted 1 February 2016 Posted 1 February 2016 Take him over Remy, Physical attributes suit us down to the ground and will come here with something to prove rather than a pay check 2x the size of our next best player.
smr Posted 1 February 2016 Posted 1 February 2016 He is a Man Utd 'reject'. Get him in!!!! It's 'Gerrimin!' otherwise the deals off.
ramboacdc Posted 1 February 2016 Posted 1 February 2016 Take him over Remy, Physical attributes suit us down to the ground and will come here with something to prove rather than a pay check 2x the size of our next best player. but would you rather have diouf or kramaric?
