GorlestonFox Posted 1 February 2016 Posted 1 February 2016 Officially confirmed off on loan to Fiorentina Quite upset about this one
theessexfox Posted 1 February 2016 Posted 1 February 2016 Better hope Amartey can play well at right-back...
Foxxed Posted 1 February 2016 Posted 1 February 2016 Maybe he wanted to play some football matches, who knows.
GorlestonFox Posted 1 February 2016 Author Posted 1 February 2016 Poor signing. Him coming in? Or him leaving?
onekeithweller Posted 1 February 2016 Posted 1 February 2016 That he can't break into a back four in a team topping the Premier League doesn't make him a poor signing.
Tuna Posted 1 February 2016 Posted 1 February 2016 Him coming in? Or him leaving? He cost nearly 6 million and never played. Terrible signing.
GorlestonFox Posted 1 February 2016 Author Posted 1 February 2016 He cost nearly 6 million and never played. Terrible signing. Showed his worth as back up. I guess the lad just wanted playing time. Wouldnt say he was a terrible signing at all.
Bob Weasel Fox Posted 1 February 2016 Posted 1 February 2016 Shame, I thought Benny was a good player personally. Hope he does well at Fiorentina
Guest Mee-9 Posted 1 February 2016 Posted 1 February 2016 I'm gunna miss his tweets more than his footballing ability.
RobHawk Posted 1 February 2016 Posted 1 February 2016 I'm guessing there will be a recall option on this if needed. If there is a loan move is good news all round!
lgfualol Posted 1 February 2016 Posted 1 February 2016 Likeable guy, loved the team despite not getting the chances. Two defenders out on TDL with Amartey the only new face that could cover (as well as being extra cover CDM, in addition to CB and RB). Worrying if we get an injury plague!
EnglishOxide Posted 1 February 2016 Posted 1 February 2016 Let this be a lesson to us to stop buying squad players and start buying players who are clear upgrades in our first team.
Tuna Posted 1 February 2016 Posted 1 February 2016 I'm guessing there will be a recall option on this if needed. If there is a loan move is good news all round! Generally these sort of loans don't have recall clauses. Could be wrong though.
Jaspa Posted 1 February 2016 Posted 1 February 2016 I'm guessing there will be a recall option on this if needed. If there is a loan move is good news all round! No they paid a fee. Hes an alright player and a decent individual on the face of it. Truth is though hes played Cup matches and hasnt even come off the bench in the Prem in something like 20 games. We have Wasil who can still do a job, Amartey can cover that position but is unproven so its still a risk, made more so by de Laet going out(I'd want a recall on that though)
NoFuchsGiven Posted 1 February 2016 Posted 1 February 2016 Showed quality in cup, i still think he was a decent signing. shows the quality of our two centre halves atm
gurru991 Posted 1 February 2016 Posted 1 February 2016 It's fantastic that we are signing quality people like Benny & that they can't make the team. It shows how much we have improved under CR.
volpeazzurro Posted 1 February 2016 Posted 1 February 2016 Let this be a lesson to us to stop buying squad players and start buying players who are clear upgrades in our first team. Absolutely spot on. That's why its not a disappointment to me we haven't signed anyone in the January window. We have professionals at the club who are good at their job to decide who's good enough now and at what price. No room for dreamers, sentiment, Utube watchers and armchair experts.

I think our squad is now set through the end of the season.
Harry - LCFC Posted 1 February 2016 Posted 1 February 2016 Not a lot of cover so a slightly odd move but can't say I'm upset by it. No offence to the guy but its hard to feel affection for a player who had as little game time as he did. Best of luck to him if he doesn't play for us again.
DeclanMC Posted 1 February 2016 Posted 1 February 2016 No recall options, due to Premier League squad registrations, and loans have to finish in a transfer window in the Prem.
SystonFox Posted 1 February 2016 Posted 1 February 2016 Personally thought he was Doggo of what I saw. And we paid £6M? Fcck a duck. All the best though la
Monsell1976 Posted 1 February 2016 Posted 1 February 2016 He cost nearly 6 million and never played. Terrible signing.Never let anyone down when played, never given a chance.
5waller5 Posted 1 February 2016 Posted 1 February 2016 It's a strange one..... Hush or Wes get injured and we have one option, Waz ..... If 2 defenders are injured we don't have a back up right back or CB. Leaves us light I think.
