The Year Of The Fox Posted 4 February 2016 Posted 4 February 2016 Was reading that 2008/09 Where Are They Now thread and thought about our players back then. Kingy played for our development squad in 06 and signed a professional contract in May 07. Just wondering when (assuming he has one) his testimonial would fall? When he signed his pro contract? Who was the last player we had who we had a testimonial for?
The Year Of The Fox Posted 4 February 2016 Author Posted 4 February 2016 Did Conrad Logan's testimonial pass me by? That's half of what I'm getting at. Was it Walshy if not Logan?
Fox92 Posted 4 February 2016 Posted 4 February 2016 That's half of what I'm getting at. Was it Walshy if not Logan? Yeah, must have been Walsh.

fuchsntf Posted 4 February 2016 Posted 4 February 2016 I knew I forgot something....King Richard III, king Power, And..Andy King....."f.king hell" a right royal straight.
Tielemans63 Posted 4 February 2016 Posted 4 February 2016 Did Conrad Logan's testimonial pass me by? The only man ever guaranteed to be on the bench in his own testimonial
Guest Mee-9 Posted 4 February 2016 Posted 4 February 2016 Did Conrad Logan's testimonial pass me by? He played Rochdale U21 at's Belvoir Drive as his testimonal behind closed doors.
Foxmeister Posted 4 February 2016 Posted 4 February 2016 I thought King played every game like a testimonial You remember who started all this right?
Foxmeister Posted 4 February 2016 Posted 4 February 2016 David Speedie got one after 1 season! 1994 if memory serves.
bovril Posted 4 February 2016 Posted 4 February 2016 I thought it was quite funny, actually. As much as I love Kingy.
filbertstreet Posted 4 February 2016 Posted 4 February 2016 hope he goes into leicester-themed porn after retiring, I want to watch some randy king
Guest Bilo Posted 4 February 2016 Posted 4 February 2016 hope he goes into leicester-themed porn after retiring, I want to watch some randy king In hindsight, it did us no harm in the summer.

MC Prussian Posted 4 February 2016 Posted 4 February 2016 Can we first give him another ten years before we dwell on a testy-monial for Andy King?
Gary Eatfood Posted 4 February 2016 Posted 4 February 2016 I knew I forgot something....King Richard III, king Power, And..Andy King....."f.king hell" a right royal straight. You're obsessed with King's! You must be an Elvis fan.
Captain... Posted 4 February 2016 Posted 4 February 2016 When he retires he should have a testimonial and he fully deserves one.
Russell sprout Posted 4 February 2016 Posted 4 February 2016 Let's be serious,he's one of the most grounded players we've have or had,he's not a sulk, you know what your getting with him,and does a good job whenever called upon,he's gone through everything us fans have in the last 10 years and rightly so deserves a testimonial
ozleicester Posted 5 February 2016 Posted 5 February 2016 King is Leicester, he typifies the Leicester spirit and has been a model professional.
bluebeau Posted 5 February 2016 Posted 5 February 2016 Call me whatever you want but I am not a supporter of testimonials for these over-paid over-priced footballers! It must be hard going trying to survive on £30k to £100k a week! I am not necessarily referring to Kingy. I am a true City supporter but I just don't agree with testimonials except in certain cases such as a player having to retire early due to injury or illness. Did the guy Clarke that suffered a heart attack when we were playing at Forest get a testimonial? I know he hadn't been with us very long but he should have got one if he didn't.
Jordan Posted 5 February 2016 Posted 5 February 2016 Don't the gate receipts from most testimonials at the higher levels of the game these days go to charities?
