Sol thewall Bamba Posted 24 February 2016 Posted 24 February 2016 Another cup final... treat them with respect, 100% effort. Exactly. Same amount of points on offer as the Arsenal game which was apparently the biggest game in our history!
MakingEmileOfIt Posted 24 February 2016 Posted 24 February 2016 Think West Brom is more of a banana skin than this. Can see us coming out early on and look to put the game away. I'm usually quite pessimistic but I just can't see us dropping points in this one.
Bob Weasel Fox Posted 24 February 2016 Posted 24 February 2016 Another cup final... treat them with respect, 100% effort. You are quite right babsUp the Foxes
wardyfox86 Posted 24 February 2016 Posted 24 February 2016 Exactly. Same amount of points on offer as the Arsenal game which was apparently the biggest game in our history! I think the general thinking behind the Arsenal game being 'more than 3 points' was that if we'd have won, a direct rival would have lost, so a big point swing. (I know, I sound like Michael Owen)
SpinneyHillRanger Posted 24 February 2016 Posted 24 February 2016 had a dream couple of days ago we lost 2-0, the day after had a dream we won 2-1 with late winner...

(I know, I sound like Michael Owen) Oh of course, but conceivably this weekend we could win and Arsenal could lose to ManU, then we're 5 point ahead of them again.

Corky Posted 24 February 2016 Posted 24 February 2016 I had a dream I was the only human on an Earth populated by giant bumblebees. That must have been an Apidae for you.
NotTheMarketLeader Posted 24 February 2016 Posted 24 February 2016 Not bothered what the score is as long as the market leaders take 3 points it's not about the performance this time of the season just the points in the bag I'd forgotten all that. Dyche ....many, many pound notes etc. WE ARE THE MARKET LEADERS!
Carl the Llama Posted 24 February 2016 Posted 24 February 2016 That must have been an Apidae for you. It was until London got attacked by terrorist bombus.
FoxFossil Posted 24 February 2016 Posted 24 February 2016 It was until London got attacked by terrorist bombus. Did the Bees sing Leicester psithy-r-us (bees have slight lisp)
BenTheFox Posted 24 February 2016 Posted 24 February 2016 We really can't be underestimating Norwich. They beat Man United away, drew with West Ham away, drew away at Liverpool. They've got more points on the board than we did this time last season. Will they be able to show the form that we did towards the end of last season? Who knows? But I'm certainly not writing them off.
sylofox Posted 24 February 2016 Posted 24 February 2016 This really is a must win game I have to live down here with this budgie breeding load of fvckers. CR out if we even draw with them lol
Foxxed Posted 24 February 2016 Posted 24 February 2016 https://mobile.twitter.com/LCFC/status/699292728392355840 Amartey played in our last dev squad game. Liam Moore also played. Both potentially RBs or CBs. Where did Amartey play? If he played RB and played well, surely Ranieri would be tempted to try him. Same true for Moore of course.
rico Posted 24 February 2016 Posted 24 February 2016 Norwich will probably target the right back as being the weakest link due to not being our regular 1st teamer,if it is DA he could be in for a tough debut
SpinneyHillRanger Posted 25 February 2016 Posted 25 February 2016 Impressed by CR's comments at the press conferance today. Sounds like the boys will be up for it and won't be taking it easy
jammie82uk Posted 25 February 2016 Posted 25 February 2016 Stat time Norwich City have won just one and lost nine of the last 12 Premier League away games. The Canaries have gone 13 Premier League games on the road without a clean sheet. Only Riyad Mahrez (24) has been involved in more Premier League goals (scored and assisted) than Jamie Vardy (22) this season. In fact, Mahrez and Vardy (33) have scored more Premier League goals between them this season than the whole Norwich City team (30). Leicester have conceded just three goals in their last eight Premier League matches at the King Power Stadium and have gone six hours and 13 minutes since they last conceded on home soil. The Foxes have scored more goals on counter attacks (5) than any other Premier League team this season. Leicester City have the best shot conversion rate in the Premier League, scoring with 18.2% of their shots. The winning side in the last three league meetings between Leicester and Norwich have scored a penalty. Leicester have won more penalties than any other team in the Premier League this season (10). Jamie Vardy has won more penalties in the Premier League this season alone (6) than all of the other 19 Premier League teams. Leicester City have conceded the joint-most (9) and highest proportion of headed goals (31%) in the Premier League this season.
davieG Posted 25 February 2016 Posted 25 February 2016 As he prepares his squad to face Norwich City on Saturday, Leicester City manager Claudio Ranieri gave an update on the fitness of Jamie Vardy, Jeffrey Schlupp and Daniel Amartey. The Foxes boss revealed that Academy graduate Schlupp returned to full training this week, having not played since 5 December against Swansea City due to a hamstring problem. Meanwhile, Ranieri also discussed the fitness of Premier League top scorer Vardy and latest City signing Daniel Amartey. “Schlupp has come back and he’s trained fully with us,” Ranieri said. “I don’t know now [whether he will be in the squad to face Norwich] because it’s just the first week with us but it’s good to see him back. “Amartey isn't 100 per cent, no, but he’s ready. He played against Manchester City in the Under-21s. He played 90 minutes. “I hope now he’s (Jamie Vardy) 80 per cent and in the next matches he arrives at 100 per cent.” Defender Danny Simpson is suspended for the clash with the Canaries having been sent off in the 2-1 defeat to Arsenal last time out, meaning Amartey will be competing with a number of players to fill the void. Ranieri added: “I can put [Marcin] Wasilewski again [at right back], I can put Amartey, I can put [Marc] Albrighton maybe. I have one day more to think about it. “Of course when you change something, something different [happens]. But I think the squad must repair ever Read more at http://www.lcfc.com/news/article/ranieris-injury-update-vardy-schlupp-amartey-2973584.aspx#DAD3rtqUt1mXXsIh.99
themightyfin Posted 25 February 2016 Posted 25 February 2016 From the way they have been set up training the last couple of days it looks like Albrighton at RB with Gray coming in on the wing.
Fox seen in Norwich Posted 25 February 2016 Posted 25 February 2016 Albrighton RB with Gray LM would be nice to see. Norwich won't want to lose so think they'll sit and in doing so also try to prevent our counter attacking play. Having Albrighton crossing from deep could be a very useful weapon
RowlattsFox Posted 25 February 2016 Posted 25 February 2016 Really looking forward to this. Amazingly not been to a home game since we beat Birmingham 3-2 early in the promotion season. Been to plenty of away games but home games have been difficult. Don't let me down Leicester.
st albans fox Posted 25 February 2016 Posted 25 February 2016 if they are going to sit deep, we could see leo start
SpinneyHillRanger Posted 25 February 2016 Posted 25 February 2016 if they are going to sit deep, we could see leo start even if they sit deep... they will eventually have more of the ball... Only against the parked bus of bournmouth did we have more possession. Once they have the ball.... it's simple..... kante wins the ball -> passes to drinkwater -> plays vardy in ->GOAL or okazaki and mahrez pick up left overs
Bob Weasel Fox Posted 25 February 2016 Posted 25 February 2016 It's getting exciting now, getting closer each day Come on Leicester Up the Foxes
