katieakita Posted 28 February 2016 Posted 28 February 2016 Think the biggest disappointment was the fact the team failed to do a lap of honour after the game We didn't play to our best but we ground out a win we struggled to create a clear cut chance but when we did we took it. A couple of near things didn't go our way during the match Shinji could have scored with a flick, their big central midfielder started out kicking and fouling anything that moved and didn't get a booking, lots of little things. Norwich are fighting for their lives so why should they just turn up and roll over, they had a game plan that almost worked but ultimately didn't so lets take the positives and there are plenty. We have one game less, our defence has let in 4 goals in 9 games, that is impressive by any standards and 1 of the goals was offside and 2 scored when we were down to 10 men . That is a fantastic achievement for a team with a "dodgy backline" simple maths tells you if you do not concede you don't have to score as many to win. We have put the pressure back on the teams behind us they all have to win to keep the gap as it was. If Arsenal win we have 15 points on Man Utd with 11 to play Spurs have West Ham and Arsenal after today so teams below us can fight it out among themselves.
