Bluetintedspecs Posted 29 February 2016 Posted 29 February 2016 N'Golo will be a massive miss yes, however cometh the hour cometh the man. Those of you slating Kingy need to hang your heads in shame, despite his limited minutes on the pitch he will step up and do a great job that I'm confident of. Support our players and team not whine like big babies. COYB.
C-man Posted 29 February 2016 Posted 29 February 2016 Imagine King versus Darren Fletcher, Craig Gardner, Claudio Yacob... Kingy is better than all 3 put together.
MPH Posted 29 February 2016 Posted 29 February 2016 Apologies if I am misunderstanding but you are advocating the use of Amartey, who has played one game at right back for us, in central midfield over Andy King who has been picked by at least 7 different managers of LCFC, playing over 300 games and scoring over 50 goals and then implying you are using head over heart? CDM is Amarteys natural position. King is more of an attack minded midfielder.
les-tah Posted 29 February 2016 Posted 29 February 2016 Apologies if I am misunderstanding but you are advocating the use of Amartey, who has played one game at right back for us, in central midfield over Andy King who has been picked by at least 7 different managers of LCFC, playing over 300 games and scoring over 50 goals and then implying you are using head over heart? nope not saying that.. Dont know enough about Amartey. i just agree that Kingy is very uninspiring in the premiership and doesnt excite me! i totally agree with your stats but King is not going to be able to do what he did in league 1 and the championship. Anyone else agree? ... and P.S dont get me wrong im a King fan. Just being realistic.
C-man Posted 29 February 2016 Posted 29 February 2016 King always comes good this time of year. Exactly the same happened last year, King comes in, bags agaisnt West Ham and we go on the streak. Oh ye of little faith. Exactly. I work in Birmingham with plenty of Baggies and they have a similar thing with Chris Brunt. The sort of idiots who think because a player played for the team in the Championship that they are not good enough in the Premier League. The type of morons who still believe it's better to spend £10m on an exotic name because they must be better than a player who has played for us for years and has given everything for the shirt on over 300 occasions. There's a reason why King continues to play regularly for us and has done under god knows how many managers. If Ranieri thinks he's good enough then I trust that opinion far more than every fan on this site. The man has forgotten more about football since Saturday's game than most of the posters on this site have ever known.
ScouseFox Posted 29 February 2016 Posted 29 February 2016 results with king playing the majority of the game in the past 12 months; swansea (h) 2-0 win burnley (a) 1-0 win sunderland (a) 0-0 draw qpr (h) 5-1 win sunderland (h) - 4-2 win west ham (a) - 2-1 win spurs (h) 1-1 draw bournemouth (a) 1-1 draw chelsea (h) 2-1 win everton (a) 3-2 win liverpool (a) 0-1 loss not good enough can't be relied upon imo
Fox92 Posted 29 February 2016 Posted 29 February 2016 King has never let us down and he's the type of player to score a last minute winner or a 30 yard shot to ensure we win... Absolute hero. The only thing that worries me is Kante not playing. King cannot do what Kante can do.
Babylon Posted 29 February 2016 Posted 29 February 2016 Kingy is fine, clearly not as dynamic and Kante but he can do a steady job. We've won without Kante this season and our run last season happened with Kingy played a major role and massively stepped up his game.
Tommeh Posted 29 February 2016 Posted 29 February 2016 Remember at the start of the season when we went in with just Kingy and DD and everyone thought we'd be down by fu cking October? This forum is a problem.
Countryfox Posted 29 February 2016 Posted 29 February 2016 Kingy is fine, clearly not as dynamic and Kante but he can do a steady job. We've won without Kante this season and our run last season happened with Kingy played a major role and massively stepped up his game. As I said earlier ... Trust in the Don. .... and Babs.
TheMightySystem Posted 29 February 2016 Posted 29 February 2016 Imagine King versus Darren Fletcher, Craig Gardner, Claudio Yacob... Improvement from last season when we had Gary Taylor Fletcher vs the Chelsea midfield.

goose2010 Posted 29 February 2016 Posted 29 February 2016 King has never let us down and he's the type of player to score a last minute winner or a 30 yard shot to ensure we win... Absolute hero. The only thing that worries me is Kante not playing. King cannot do what Kante can do. There isn't many players in the prem that can do what Kante does luckily the two games we have got we should get more of the ball and not require as much energy, he did almost look a little lost Saturday as he didn't have as many tackles / interceptions to put in.
goose2010 Posted 29 February 2016 Posted 29 February 2016 Imagine King versus Darren Fletcher, Craig Gardner, Claudio Yacob... why would we play 1 in midfield?
SpacedX Posted 29 February 2016 Posted 29 February 2016 King will not let us down. Hope he bags and sticks a finger up at all those that doubt him. Also of note, when he gets the ball he scores a goal.
Gubbins Posted 29 February 2016 Posted 29 February 2016 It's looking like hel play King. Now I know he's been here for ages and most on here love him but he really is the polar opposite of Kante who is constantly involved, on the ball and making things happen. King 8 times out of 10 is rarely any of these things. He keeps it safe and does his best work off the ball (apparently), he didn't acquire the invisible man tag for no reason! It hopefully won't matter too much against an average and defensive west brom but I am now more concerned for Watford away.
Jaspa Posted 29 February 2016 Posted 29 February 2016 since every time people start questioning the main man andy king I think they help your argument tbph mate, takes a special guy to go against a fact
Benguin Posted 29 February 2016 Posted 29 February 2016 I hope his hammy gets better soon, poor little thing. I can actually see N'golo having a little hammy like that
Benguin Posted 29 February 2016 Posted 29 February 2016 Big loss but............ King king Andy Andy king Every faith drinky and king can do the job against west buswich and Watford
Countryfox Posted 29 February 2016 Posted 29 February 2016 It's looking like hel play King. Now I know he's been here for ages and most on here love him but he really is the polar opposite of Kante who is constantly involved .... He's injured ... get over it.
Julian Joachim Jr Shabadoo Posted 29 February 2016 Posted 29 February 2016 King'll score the winner against West Brom and the headline will be "the King of the King Power"
char123 Posted 29 February 2016 Posted 29 February 2016 We could always try schlupp in a new position. I thought he had a cracking game when he came on for sayin he has been out for so long. Although im not sure trying people in new positions is a massively great idea at this stage of the season with so much to lose!!
Wymsey Posted 29 February 2016 Posted 29 February 2016 That's the problem with running around a lot helping the team in many areas, playing opponents down. I think quite a few Liverpool players had hamstring issues themselves this season, whilst trying to get to grips with Klopp's off-the-ball tactics.
