Bluetintedspecs Posted 3 March 2016 Posted 3 March 2016 Tough but back to winning ways I feel. Vardy to bag his 20th and 21st of the season in a 2-0 win.
Bob Weasel Fox Posted 3 March 2016 Posted 3 March 2016 Tough but back to winning ways I feel. Vardy to bag his 20th and 21st of the season in a 2-0 win. I hope Vardy scores bless himUp the Foxes
biggs Posted 3 March 2016 Posted 3 March 2016 Corners and free kicks looked dangerous v United and with our man in goal not exactly the most enthusiastic at coming out for crosses we might have our heart in our throats a few times. Regardless of the result of the arse/spurs match we will take Watford to task and it's time for our goal scorers to turn up the heat. 4-1 Leicester
Bob Weasel Fox Posted 4 March 2016 Posted 4 March 2016 Game on tomorrow Excited already, shitty work first though
Benguin Posted 4 March 2016 Posted 4 March 2016 I think we will get the 3 here. Vardy pen Mahrez Morgan Deeney 1-3
EnglishOxide Posted 4 March 2016 Posted 4 March 2016 I'm going for a 3-0 win. It's got the feel of one of them games where we make out its tough, but actually it turns out to be comfortable and afterwards we are wondering why we were so worried, like the Stoke match in January. I can't help but think Watford will be deflated from the United loss and on a subconscious level will be aware they are safe, but also that European hopes have slipped away. They may be the first team we play that will be considered 'on the beach'.
Vardinio'sCat Posted 4 March 2016 Posted 4 March 2016 Last night was the first time for a while we've created a few chances I have to say (and missed them) We've been petty tight at the back and like to play the ball in midfield more than maybe at the start of the season which will suit you I guess as you'll quickly closeus down etc. Our central defenders are pretty solid but not sure about the full backs so Mahrez might have a good time.. An awful lot of hand-waving at Ighalo at Old Trafford, did you notice that? A touch greedy perhaps, trying to get a goal against his (hoped for) future club maybe? Of course, it could all change in a second, and probably will, but there wasn't a great deal of love and respect going around.
jammie82uk Posted 4 March 2016 Posted 4 March 2016 Stat time Leicester City's victory at Vicarage Road in 2013-14 ended a run of six games without a win away at Watford (D1 L5). There have been 26 goals netted in the last six matches between Watford & Leicester at Vicarage Road. Watford have failed to keep a clean sheet in their last 13 matches in all competitions against the Foxes. Leicester City have won 10 and lost just two of their last 17 Barclays Premier League away matches. The Foxes have scored in 16 of their last 18 Premier League away matches. Leicester have conceded 31% of their goals from headers, the highest proportion in the top flight. The Hornets have failed to score in six of their last eight Premier League matches. Odion Ighalo has scored just one goal in nine Premier League appearances so far in 2016, despite attempting 27 shots (inc. blocked). Just 18 players have started a Premier League game for Leicester City this season; fewer than any other team. In fact, these two sides have both seen a league-high four players play for them in every single Premier League match this season - Schmeichel, Vardy, Albrighton and Morgan for Leicester and Gomes, Deeney, Ighalo and Capoue for Watford.
Arriba Los Zorros Posted 4 March 2016 Posted 4 March 2016 Could it be that this is an easier game than Norwich and WBA? Watford will attack us and just might suit our natural counterattacking game?.. I'm not sure about this, we're obviously a counter-attacking side, but we have also struggled in games where teams have deprived us possession (Spurs H/A, Man Utd). I think we'll have a lot of the ball vs Watford and we able to attack a lot which should suit us, also think Wes and Huth are a match for Deeney and Ighalo.... should just eek out a win in a good game, 2-1.
davieG Posted 4 March 2016 Posted 4 March 2016 Leicester City NEWS: N'Golo Kante could return to action at Watford By Mercury_Sport | Posted: March 04, 2016 By Rob Tanner KanteWhite Comments (0)N'Golo Kante could return to the Leicester City side for the trip to Watford. The midfielder missed the midweek draw with West Bromwich Albion because of a slight hamstring injury but returned to training today and was able to complete the entire session. Manager Claudio Ranieri said he would make a decision tomorrow morning whether Kante is fit enough to return to action at Vicarage Road. "He made all today's training session which is good," he said. "I'll decide tomorrow – he could play versus Watford. "Everyone else is okay. Kasper is okay." Andy King stepped in for Kante against Albion and scored City's second goal in the 2-2 draw and will again partner Danny Drinkwater in midfield if Ranieri decides not to risk Kante. City's only other injury absentee is midfielder Matty James, who is still working on his fitness after undergoing knee surgery at the end of last season Read more: http://www.leicestermercury.co.uk/Leicester-City-NEWS-N-Golo-Kante-return-action/story-28860809-detail/story.html#ixzz41waU7lk2 Follow us: @@leicester_Merc on Twitter | leicestermercury on Facebook
Bob Weasel Fox Posted 4 March 2016 Posted 4 March 2016 Kante (if fully fit) would be brilliant back in the side Up the Foxes
Super_horns Posted 4 March 2016 Posted 4 March 2016 An awful lot of hand-waving at Ighalo at Old Trafford, did you notice that? A touch greedy perhaps, trying to get a goal against his (hoped for) future club maybe? Well he is a striker so they generally only think about one thing - shooting/scoring. Deeney is a more team front man so to speak. Cannot complain too about Ighalo though - after all we'd be in the bottom 3 without his goals.
Bluetintedspecs Posted 4 March 2016 Posted 4 March 2016 Wow what a great boost N'Golo back would be! If not Kingy will deliver
Raw Dykes Posted 4 March 2016 Posted 4 March 2016 Draw will be fine I'll be happy with a draw as long as we play well again, especially if Spurs drop points.
HighPeakFox Posted 4 March 2016 Posted 4 March 2016 Feels like a win important psychologically, just because we drew last time out. I agree performance is almost as important.
st albans fox Posted 4 March 2016 Posted 4 March 2016 Draw will be fine Interesting view - given that we drew against WBA, I feel this now needs to be targeted as a win. Otherwise, one of the other tougher fixtures coming later needs to become a win (whereas we may have viewed it as a probable draw). putting space between us and the chasing sides will remind the boys of the championship season and they can draw on that experience.
biggs Posted 4 March 2016 Posted 4 March 2016 Win and all will be good for another week. Satisfied with a draw......hah.....why? Only way I'm satisfied with a draw at this point is if we score late to tie it up.
MonmoreStef Posted 4 March 2016 Posted 4 March 2016 An Arsenal/Spurs draw or Arsenal win followed by us beating Watford will result in LCFC being odds on to win the Prem. just the thought of it makes be both proud and scared at the same time.
fuchsntf Posted 4 March 2016 Posted 4 March 2016 We could well go through the rest of the season unbeaten, and still not win the title...
Foxxed Posted 4 March 2016 Posted 4 March 2016 Spurs and Arsenal dropping points doesn't mean we can stroll into the match and be happy with a draw. Another performance with the determination of the last match please.
UPinCarolina Posted 5 March 2016 Posted 5 March 2016 Bumping so we don't forget that it's about beating Watford, not about some blokes from London.
Bob Weasel Fox Posted 5 March 2016 Posted 5 March 2016 Draw will be fine Doubt it will be Must at least be trying for a win surely? Up the Foxes
