Fox 4 Life Posted 3 March 2016 Posted 3 March 2016 I still hate the ***** so I hope we smash them. The 3-0 win after the playoff mess is still one of my favourite games! It will be tough but they definitely won't sit back so it could be a very open game.
Oxfordfox83 Posted 3 March 2016 Posted 3 March 2016 Could be a tough game, especially if Ighalo's shooting boots turn up at the back of his wardrobe. Still think we have enough, Albrighton's return to form couldn't have been timed better and their defence isn't particularly resilient. 2-0 City (Drinky, Vardy)
kingcarr21 Posted 3 March 2016 Posted 3 March 2016 Very tough game but we are a machine away from home. 2-1 Vardy and Schluup. Ben Watson for them
foxfanazer Posted 3 March 2016 Posted 3 March 2016 I'm glad we're away from home to be honest. Suits our game so much better and it will put the impetus on Watford to attack us. I like how Watford have gone about things this season, very good side
Julian Joachim Jr Shabadoo Posted 3 March 2016 Posted 3 March 2016 Will be a tough game, I think we'll edge it though - hopefully an attacking performance just like against WBA 3-1 - King, Vardy, Huth, Deeney (pen)
Gerard Posted 3 March 2016 Posted 3 March 2016 I'm glad we're away from home to be honest. Suits our game so much better and it will put the impetus on Watford to attack us. I like how Watford have gone about things this season, very good side You have to rate Watford, they looked like they would be a shambles when they signed about 15 players in the summer and a new manager but they're at the very least a mid table side. A solid team who are organised and you could make a case they have the best strike force in the country in Ighalo and Deeney. Our toughest game in this "easy" run of our next seven but nonetheless a MUST WIN. If we're going to win the title I feel we need to open a big gap going into our last three very tough games. If we win and Tottenham don't then there is real daylight between us and the chasing pack. This game could be pivotal if we're going to win the league.
shen Posted 3 March 2016 Posted 3 March 2016 Very unfortunate to come away with nothing from OT. They're in poor form (not that this was apparent yesterday) and are somehow struggling to score goals. If Ighalo doesn't sort out his feet, we will win it. If he does, I think it'll be a draw. Agreed about the loss of Kanté being more critical for this game than against WBA.
foxfanazer Posted 3 March 2016 Posted 3 March 2016 Ighalo and Deeney are brilliant but I noticed 3 or 4 occasions last night where Ighalo should've laid it off to Deeney for a tap in and instead chose to shoot. Maybe starting to believe his own hype?
foxes21 Posted 3 March 2016 Posted 3 March 2016 Deeney will score. That is guranteed against us. But so will Kingy! Will be a close game.
Vicki Vixen Posted 3 March 2016 Posted 3 March 2016 The Golden Boys? Is there a worse name in football? Maybe the Young Boys of Bern. Maybe one day we'll see Golden Boys vs Young Boys in the Europa League, live on ITV Sport from the Wankdorf Stadium. The bars on Old Compton Street will be packed.
Bob Weasel Fox Posted 3 March 2016 Posted 3 March 2016 Come on Leicester Need to be at our best again for this game Up the Foxes
kingfox Posted 3 March 2016 Posted 3 March 2016 Household rivalry time again for me. Watford have been in a rut of late, so hopefully that continues and plays in our favour. Ighalo & Deeney will always pose a threat, Capoue has impressed me at times as well this season. All depends if Deeney & Ighalo click, Ighalo hasn't scored in five league games. Will go for a Leicester 2-1 win, Vardy & Okazaki with the goals.
Guest ttfn Posted 3 March 2016 Posted 3 March 2016 Hopefully Kingy plays like he did in that playoff game there in 2013 when he was like Zidane and Keane rolled into one.
SpinneyHillRanger Posted 3 March 2016 Posted 3 March 2016 Outcome really depends how the two teams setup and who scores first. IF they play counter attacking with lots of players behind the ball.. and we go for it... I can see us conceding a goal with Ighalo and Deeney on the break. Igahlo has to play better than he did against Manure last night. If however we both start of a bit conservative, I can see us nicking it late on as we change up and pile pressure on late. If we do score early, I think we will have them right where we want them and win 0-2 or 0-3. I reckon it will be a draw though
MC Prussian Posted 3 March 2016 Posted 3 March 2016 Gomes needed treatment in the second half after a fall right next to his left goalpost. I'm not sure about his current condition, could miss out on the weekend. In general, spirits seem to be dampened a bit at the Vic - mainly because Deeney has been hit 'n miss as of late and Ighalo very, very greedy. Add the recent signing of Suarez to the mix and you get a lot of players who aren't as happy as they one were - the initial flow has gone amiss. Watford are rather unlikely to get relegated (I know, still ten games to go) and thus maybe wonder what they're supposed to play for from now on up until the end of the season.
BrummieFOX Posted 3 March 2016 Posted 3 March 2016 Where will city fans be drinking before ? Catching train from Northampton No alcohol served inside the ground!! Anyone know any pubs near? Aint been to this shithole in years. Wetherspoons (The Moon Under Water) on the High St, or the Odd Fellows right next to the ground. Both open to away fans.
Bryn Posted 3 March 2016 Posted 3 March 2016 Really tough match. Win this comfortably and I really will start believing.
weller54 Posted 3 March 2016 Author Posted 3 March 2016 Could it be that this is an easier game than Norwich and WBA? Watford will attack us and just might suit our natural counterattacking game?..
steveherbe Posted 3 March 2016 Posted 3 March 2016 Where will city fans be drinking before ? Catching train from Northampton Weather spoons in town centre or oddfellows
Super_horns Posted 3 March 2016 Posted 3 March 2016 Last night was the first time for a while we've created a few chances I have to say (and missed them) We've been petty tight at the back and like to play the ball in midfield more than maybe at the start of the season which will suit you I guess as you'll quickly closeus down etc. Our central defenders are pretty solid but not sure about the full backs so Mahrez might have a good time..
Foxbythesea Posted 3 March 2016 Posted 3 March 2016 Obviously this will be tough however we are the better team so I'll think will sneak a 2-1 win, Vardy and Okazaki.
