Babylon Posted 5 March 2016 Posted 5 March 2016 Need to get tighter to each other when we attack, we're passing it too far to other players and just losing the ball.
Spiritwalker Posted 5 March 2016 Posted 5 March 2016 Very poor, we seem to be lacking energy and simple passing skills. On the upside we usually play better in the 2nd half.
dylanlegend Posted 5 March 2016 Posted 5 March 2016 Think the constant rain may have something to do with this. Good idea to put Ulloa on and play a bit a long ball
Monsell1976 Posted 5 March 2016 Posted 5 March 2016 Not at the races first half, Watford dealing with the conditions better. Claudio needs to get hold of them at half time, and get them playing with more urgency
ImBlue Posted 5 March 2016 Posted 5 March 2016 Love his effort but Shinji has been very poor today, keeps falling over and struggling to pass or retain the ball.. Just how has that been different to 80% of his games this season?
shen Posted 5 March 2016 Posted 5 March 2016 I really think the pitch is a major factor for the shit football so far.
Sharpe's Fox Posted 5 March 2016 Posted 5 March 2016 This on BBC text commentary, so correct: Shinji Okazaki is a loveable sort. Not the biggest but what's there of him is a bit of a battering ram. He seems to lack a great touch and wonderful ability but races around clattering into all and sundry. It's admirable graft and he catches a clearance flush into his body from close range. He sits on the floor vacant as if to suggest he's had enough.
RowlattsFox Posted 5 March 2016 Posted 5 March 2016 Not particularly great but usual over reaction on here. We play a certain way and it doesn't look good against poorer sides. Sloppy as it what I would use but we should be in front. It's there for us and hopefully ranieri will win it tactically again.
Guest Col city fan Posted 5 March 2016 Posted 5 March 2016 Need to get tighter to each other when we attack, we're passing it too far to other players and just losing the ball. Spot on.
HankMarvin Posted 5 March 2016 Posted 5 March 2016 If we are intent on long ball surely this is a game were uolla can link up play better that Slippery okazaki
ARM1968 Posted 5 March 2016 Posted 5 March 2016 Should have scored early and Watford have grown into the game. Half the team seem off the pace so far. Mahrez not in it at all. Big half time for CR. Bigger 2nd half coming up.
Finnegan Posted 5 March 2016 Posted 5 March 2016 I don't often call for Schlupp but get him on for Albrighton. Albrighton been poor for few weeks next, thought he was brilliant for most the season but looks ****ed at the moment. Get Schlupp on and just go direct at Nyom.
ImBlue Posted 5 March 2016 Posted 5 March 2016 Mahrez out of the game at this minute and lacking strength against the full back. Gray on and Mahrez central?
Cropwellfox Posted 5 March 2016 Posted 5 March 2016 Poorest I've seen Fuchs Morgan and Kanté - Mahrez and Albrighton both ineffectual, Shinji too. Giving away far too much possession. Ulloa King and Gray for Shinji Kanté and Mahrez during the second half at some point.
easilee Posted 5 March 2016 Posted 5 March 2016 I'm getting a bit concerned with the way a lot of FT'ers are starting to sound like fúcking Spurs and Arse fans what with our current situation. Just humble yourselves a bit ffs. Arseholes!
Corky Posted 5 March 2016 Posted 5 March 2016 Mahrez would be better in the middle with balls to feet, we just keep floating it out and he doesn't get enough chances to really test them.
Dr The Singh Posted 5 March 2016 Posted 5 March 2016 Shinji's worked his plums off.I remember a guy called Hume who used to do the same
FNQ Posted 5 March 2016 Posted 5 March 2016 I'm really surprised you all thought that was poor (actually not surprised at all based on previous). Did you really expect us to just steamroll them? It's going perfectly well so far.
ranxerox Posted 5 March 2016 Posted 5 March 2016 I really think the pitch is a major factor for the shit football so far.
Oxshottfox Posted 5 March 2016 Posted 5 March 2016 On the other hand Watford look rubbish and their ground is still something a child would design And you'd give them a crap grade as a teacher for doing so
DJ Barry Hammond Posted 5 March 2016 Posted 5 March 2016 The American pundit made some good points... *Watford haven't conceded many at home *Ulloa is usually our go to guy BUT he might not be right for this game *suggests removing Okasaki *playing Mahrez through the middle *Adding pace to the flanks - Schulp
Finnegan Posted 5 March 2016 Posted 5 March 2016 Anyone wanting Mahrez off is insane. Going to need something to break them down, can't fault anything Mahrez has done so far we've just not given him the ball and gotten forward.
