McClaren sacked.. bad timing for us.. C'mon Leicester!

Irrelevant of the manager change, Ranieri will set up the players up as per the usual standard. If we treat them with the same belief and attitude as shown in our last two games with them, we will win.

Honestly the panic from some on here is quite incredible.

Perhaps instead of clappers being handed out on monday the owners should dish out a load of miniature white flags?

Exactly......... wouldn't want to charge into battle with the pussies :)

Rome wasn't built in a day.

I still expect us to comfortably beat them, and things might get worse before the situation can improve for them.

Benitez seems such an odd choice to me given their predicament and state of the club. It seems like they are aiming high with a big name like Benitez but if they go don he will be gone - how much experience does he really have in a relegation fight? I may be wrong - like many were about Ranieri but i just don't see them staying up.

For me - the job screamed Pearson - maybe its more obvious to us as we know his strength and capabilities but he has multiple experience of surviving relegation battles and stay up or go down he would rebuild the club from top to bottom whilst shifting the dead wood!

We had no guarantee of the result before Maclaren/Benitez change.

We have no guarantee now.

Claudio, will be telling his squad not to get distracted by oppositions Hype.

Its what we do, not what they get excited about.Let the media loose,

and again its the Magpie players who have the pressure, not Leicesters.

Another day at the office for the foxes.

Nothing like a warm Leicester welcome back to the Premiership by thrashing him 4-0. That will humble him somewhat......Maggy fans will have a Benitez out thread by Monday Evening

It's not about them - it's about us. Benitez won't want the pressure of an opening day defeat. but I don't see why we shouldn't try to give him one.

Monday's a win-win for Benitez really isn't it. They get battered 3/4-0 - he hasn't had the time to put his stamp on the team, nothing was expected anyway and the real work starts on Tuesday. ANYTHING positive and he's a tactical mastermind. They've timed it perfectly to be fair.

Still, we should be looking to batter these from the first second till the last. Same intent as against West Brom and i'll have no complaints

Terrible club and I will never buy into this 'best fans' bollox about them, moaning cvnts, deluded and fickle is more apt a description in my opinion.

I really hope we tear them to shreds and destroy their false hope!

Would love a rousing rendition of you're getting sacked in the morning that night to welcome him to Newcastle and a relegation fight :)

Me too

Problem is that McClaren lost the dressing room. Even though Benitez doesn't have time to put his mark on the team by Monday, the players will want to fight for their starting place. I really hope they don't "feel up for it" because of that. Still confident we will beat them, just not as much as 3 days ago

Could easily say that about our fans too.

Closet Geordie? Foxes Talk Fans or general? Pretty much most football fans ;).

I can't do with the best most pasionate fans hype and bollox that surrounds them. I remember a few times in he 80s attendances at the amazing St James Park circa 14 k if memory serves me right and everyone of the fvckers were moaning :)

It makes things more difficult, put it that way... I'm not as confident as I may have been. If there is one saving grace we are at home, so our fans could counteract any improvement (and I believe there is potential in that squad to drastically improve).
