Sky games in May

Recommended Posts

Does anybody have an idea when Sky announces which of the games it is covering in May, in particular the Everton game?

Been told it's half 5 on the Saturday

It defo will not be the Monday as others have mentioned because Everton play on the Wednesday,

5.30 on the Saturday would be phenomenal, Sunday would be good personally for me as I have a Stag Do in Berlin that weekend but i haven't booked anything and already told the Stag that if the game remains on the Saturday I can't go :)

Selfish post warning.

I ****ing hope its not 5.30pm, in Vietnam then and that would mean a 12.30am local time kick off.

12:30 on a Saturday night is a quality kick off time!

I've also heard 5:30 on the Saturday, if we're still involved in the race.

Who did you hear it from, Rupert Murdoch?

Considering we have no BT sport games scheduled it wouldn't surprise me if this was the early game on the Saturday.

it won't be early, tv and prem will want it to be the latest possible game of the weekend if we could win the league as they'll want to show us winning the league and have us win the league/lose the chance to win the league ourselves, rather than play early, win and then spurs draw or something and we win it whilst our lads are having a shower.

I think we will be on the Sunday personally in either the 12pm or 14:05 slot with the Spurs game and Man City v Arsenal filling the other slots that day

From a player's perspective, does anyone think that seeing the opposition's results before you play is an advantage?

I tend to think it may have an effect on how a game is approached and find myself a little irked that Spurs will conveniently get to see our results before they play for most of the rest of the season.

Or has this season just sissy-fied me?

Can argue it both ways. Thought we were more nervy playing after Spurs had closed gap to 2. We get to demoralise them if we play first and win.

Totally the opposite in my opinion, play 1st and apply the pressure to spurs
