Immature for sure, the question he should ask himself is, what premier league winner do I deserve to replace? he did it out of frustration I feel and regrets it.

Hopefully. There's a chance he'll play CL in a few days, not a good time to piss off the club by moaning on twitter.

Just to make things clear in case anyone was wondering, I dont agree with the way he has gone about it if this tweet is indeed aimed at his lack of football. That being said though when the first team RW (and arguably LW if you listen to some people) is in poor form then he has every right to question behind closed doors why he isn't getting a look in. Its the same with Chilwell, Fuchs dosn't seem to have started the season very well and Chilwell played every friendly and played very well, yet first game of the season he is out of the lineup. Its all well and good buying future prospects but they need to be given game time if they are going to develop into the top talents that we believe they can be.

Chillwwell played well in every friendly? Really? I thought he looked totally lost at times.

Silly thing to do, but I feel for gray, he's shown potential... And we've signed musa and kapustka to knock him down the order.

I'm  not sure Musa is a winger tbh - I think he is suited to the Vardy role and we are seemingly just trying to accommodate him. Albrighton is a far better defensive player and crosser of the ball. Round pegs an all that.

I don't rave about Gray as much as many do on here. Based upon his final ball often being poor (gives the ball away too often). But I'm surprised he's not starting in the side over Albrighton at the moment, who, IMO, is miles off the pace.

This is the problem sometimes when strengthening a squad, if you do it right then great but from what I see we have an overload of wingers which is going to cause issues - the options at left wing are Albrighton, Gray, Musa, Kapuskta and Schlupp. Five players for a single position?

Then you look at right back and center midfield and were terribly short.

he's going to be amazing but he's not riyad right now. he might never be riyad. he's a kid and he probably is impatient. so what.

No doubt he was signed as the vards backup, as you say it's a case of accommodating him.

The extra games we will play will give Gray and others minutes on the pitch.

the problem is he like a few others want first team football now,

if they don't play then they could stagnate on the bench and not improve.

They came from teams where they were playing week in week out, so to be suddenly benched most weeks will be hard to take, especially when there are players in the team at the minute not at the races.

a shake up is needed as a wake up for the current 11 to sort themselves out, last season is over, bigger and longer contracts have been rewarded, now show us you were worth the extra money!!

I do doubt he's another one that got signed for his long-term potential, rarely plays then leaves after a couple of years - regretting moving.

He knows that his big chance will come, but yesterday game wasn't the type for him to flourish in.

Can see him taking a big part in the Burnley match.

Does deserve a chance based on our other wingers form, but he's hardly been great when used either. Not a method of communication that will help however...

hopefully kaputska gets a chance now in front of him - purely disrespectful to claudio and the team that faired so well last year. Got to say this type of arrogance is fairly common of players who join the england youth set with us - joe mattock and ben marshall showed it, ryan smith thought he was the dogs bollocks, liam moore to a lesser extent

If he doesn't want to be here, he'll be gone in January.

If he wants to get his head down and fight for his place, he'll get his chance.

The biggest problem with Gray is that he's so inconsistent.

However I would currently place him in the team over Albrighton who has performed well below par.

Even Riyad isn't Riyad right now.

TBF Riyad isn't Riyad right now.

@rob-the-blue beat me to it.

Can't see why he's moaning, he was gash when he came on against Man U and the same when he played against Hull.

As talented as he is, he needs to improve his defensive work and his passing.

It doesn't quite work like that, a player can't just leave in a transfer window if they don't want to be here.

1. There has to be someone who wants to buy him, which means he has to perform and show everyone he is a team player.

2. He's on a contract, so if he wants to go and no one wants to buy him, he'll have to buy himself out.

Mahrez could be benched as the pressure on him keeps mounting. He could even be sold in January or summer. Gray could even replace Mahrez sooner than later. But, from what I have seen last year, Gray is not of Mahrez class and will never be.

Schlupp and Kapustka look better than Gray to me.. Gray can carry the ball well but his decision making doesn't seem that great. Still got a lot to learn but he will get his chances. Lots and lots of games this season.
