foxes_rule1978 Posted 10 April 2016 Posted 10 April 2016 And we won with MORE posession One for the spuds fans More possession More shots on and off goal More corners More passes in opposition half... and the only stat that matters is more goals But we are lucky
Nalis Posted 10 April 2016 Posted 10 April 2016 We had more possession does that mean it wasn't a lucky win this time Not a lucky win because of posession (how else would we get 3pts?) however this season doesnt count as its a poor Premier League.
english77 Posted 10 April 2016 Posted 10 April 2016 I changed my top to my Blue one just before KO I thought we would play in Black so that's why we won and on French TV its all compliments for Leicester
kingfox Posted 10 April 2016 Posted 10 April 2016 Unbelievable, much better in the second half. Another clean sheet, Vardy back on the scoresheet, Kante & Drinky controlling things and the subs did a job. Happy days, now I need my bloody Sunday dinner
Guest Posted 10 April 2016 Posted 10 April 2016 Really enjoyed watching Clattermole jogging after Vardy once he realises it's over
EGBFitness Posted 10 April 2016 Posted 10 April 2016 Can I just point out for the second game u a row, the maturity and quality that Demarai Gray demonstrated? Another great performance by him, he is starting to look a real gem. People talking about adding more depth in our squad for next year with champs league etc but the youth in our squad - Gray, Chilwell, Amartey all bring quality to our team and think will do a good job in the prem next year with our weds-sat games rotating players
KFS Posted 10 April 2016 Posted 10 April 2016 What is Souness talking about not willing to give us an ounce of credit
Phube Posted 10 April 2016 Posted 10 April 2016 Subs in action for the last goal: Armartey to Gray to Vardy. Ranieri just bosses these subs!
MC Prussian Posted 10 April 2016 Posted 10 April 2016 They missed an unbelievable chance don't forget. There was so much space today and we are more than good enough to be banging in 3 or 4 goals against sides like that. I feel our decision making on the ball was really poor. The defence is amazing but it's horribly nervous putting that sort of pressure on them every game. It won't matter if we keep picking up results, but today I think we got away with it and we'll have to play a lot, lot better against West Ham. But as far as today is concerned, job done and that's all that matters. The point is differentiating between individual mistakes and a poor team performance. I put our misery and your constatation of us "having been shocking" (all game) down to a handful of instances in front of the Sunderland goal where we should've or could've scored, but were either let down by a poor touch (Ulloa) or Mannone playing a blinder (Vardy, Amartey). Can I also remind you that we were playing a side in dire need of results in order to avoid relegation? You make it sound as if we've somehow got the god-given right to thrash every opponent 4-0, 5-0. Ridiculous.
Dario79 Posted 10 April 2016 Posted 10 April 2016 Congratulation foxes, clean sheet again so boring ???
TJB-fox Posted 10 April 2016 Posted 10 April 2016 If you thought that Leicester performance was 'beyond shocking' 'truly awful' and 'generally very poor' you clearly didn't watch us before 2013/14 season!
americanfox Posted 10 April 2016 Posted 10 April 2016 Another great performance by him, he is starting to look a real gem. People talking about adding more depth in our squad for next year with champs league etc but the youth in our squad - Gray, Chilwell, Amartey all bring quality to our team and think will do a good job in the prem next year with our weds-sat games rotating players Wish Amartey finished his chance. Remember when he was signed, and we are were sharing that clip from his time at Kobenhavn where it was like 93' and he ran box-to-box and drew a peno? His moment today reminded me of that. He's gonna be great. Imagine if we keep Kante and have Amartey too!
Chester Dontlie Posted 10 April 2016 Posted 10 April 2016 When you see that Rodwell miss... you just know, you know And when you think Souness couldn't be a bigger tit, he excels at it
Arriba Los Zorros Posted 10 April 2016 Posted 10 April 2016 I am emotionally drained...... never ever felt so tense watching a game! How do we keep on finding ways of winning! So close we can taste it now!!!
Corky Posted 10 April 2016 Posted 10 April 2016 Have to say that for the nerves and edginess at times we show during the game, the composure to see them out is outstanding. Keeping the ball, staying deep in the opposition half, really sensible play.
Sionnach gorm Posted 10 April 2016 Posted 10 April 2016 Subs in action for the last goal: Armartey to Gray to Vardy. Ranieri just bosses these subs! Dead on! Brilliant!
EGBFitness Posted 10 April 2016 Posted 10 April 2016 Wish Amartey finished his chance. He's gonna be great. Imagine if we keep Kante and have Amartey too! Yeah would of been nice if he put it away but probably why his not reknown for his goal scoring I can see no reason why Kante would want to leave but I guess you never know with football would be nice to see them both in the middle but worry they both may be similar players where Drinky offers the creativity to push the team up field
raiden_dz Posted 10 April 2016 Posted 10 April 2016 Mahrez was aweful today, worse than the Saints Game I think this is coming after playing in Addis Ababa with us ( Ethiopia vs Algeria ) at 2600 meters of altitude, he was breathless in that game and since I hope he'll recover soon Come ON you Lestaaaaaaaa
Chester Dontlie Posted 10 April 2016 Posted 10 April 2016 They ask Claudio what made him so emotional, but he's defending well
joshljones98 Posted 10 April 2016 Posted 10 April 2016 How good was Kanté today? Phenomenal once again. Vardy back on it with two great goals and also thought Gray was brilliant when he came on. Onto West Ham now!
Babylon Posted 10 April 2016 Posted 10 April 2016 Can I just point out for the second game u a row, the maturity and quality that Demarai Gray demonstrated?Last 7 minutes was excellent, was the best football of the match really. Showed we could play.
