Renart Posted 12 April 2016 Posted 12 April 2016 You know what to do, vote and give your reason below. Let us see if the confidence has increased. Strangely, with 7 games to go the confidence had dropped even though we had won both games since the previous post. All results from previous polls are found below.
daddylonglegs Posted 12 April 2016 Posted 12 April 2016 I voted second as it still doesn't seem real but come on who voted third?!
promised land Posted 12 April 2016 Posted 12 April 2016 Where's the 'not sure yet and don't want to tempt fate' option? Put me in that, thanks.
nnfox Posted 12 April 2016 Posted 12 April 2016 I voted 2nd. This isn't over yet. I have given up on Spurs dropping any points. I thought they would struggle against United but they didn't. Therefore we need to win 3 games. We have 3 home games to go and realistically we should be looking to win those. West Ham is going to be mighty tricky though. I don't want to have to go to either United or Chelsea needing a win.
Nalis Posted 12 April 2016 Posted 12 April 2016 You're a bunch of pessimistic Petes I can see Spurs getting 13pts with us getting 8pts (4pts from the next 2 and 4pts in the final 3 games). The aim of course is 9pts, but a solidarity Spurs draw (and two dropped points for them) would be huge for us as it would change target from 9pts to 7pts.
STUHILL Posted 12 April 2016 Posted 12 April 2016 I still have doubts but that's only because I don't want to jinx it by saying we are going to do it. This team continues to surpass my expectations though and whenever I think we may slip up, they prove me wrong time and time again, so how can I back against them. Champions. Think Spurs will not win every game either so I think 2 wins and a draw will be enough.
Arriba Los Zorros Posted 12 April 2016 Posted 12 April 2016 I'm about 70% sure we'll do it. But pressure can do odd things, players choking before their legacy, we're by no means home and hosed
Gerard Posted 12 April 2016 Posted 12 April 2016 I hate these threads. We should do it but we are a long, long way from the finishing line
sylofox Posted 12 April 2016 Posted 12 April 2016 100% certain we will be in the top 4 when we finish at Chelsea.
Monsell1976 Posted 12 April 2016 Posted 12 April 2016 Put second, one, not to jinx it, two, really don't know if nerves will come into it, 3, can't see Spurs dropping points
DaveK Posted 12 April 2016 Posted 12 April 2016 If it was any other team in this position thered be no doubts theyd win it - 100% confident we will
stretch1965 Posted 12 April 2016 Posted 12 April 2016 Before sunday I predicted next 6 will be WDWDWD so even spuds win thier remaining we still win the league by one point
stevelcfc Posted 12 April 2016 Posted 12 April 2016 Voted second as there is still so many points to play for and so many opportunities to **** this up. And Spurs are a seriously good team.
Spudulike Posted 12 April 2016 Posted 12 April 2016 Ledley King reckoned the gap could be down to 4pts going into the last 3 matches. That's when I'll be worried.
fuchsntf Posted 12 April 2016 Posted 12 April 2016 One for the money, two for the show, we re not losing it now, So lets go cat go.. Lets rock, lets rock lets rock n roll ths is getting very boring some still dont believe, some just cant let it go, we are so near, so the doubters can only troll....
Steven Posted 12 April 2016 Posted 12 April 2016 Ledley King reckoned the gap could be down to 4pts going into the last 3 matches. That's when I'll be worried. Ask the doormen and mother of his children about the quality of his "judgement".
Nalis Posted 12 April 2016 Posted 12 April 2016 Ask the doormen and mother of his children about the quality of his "judgement". But Ledley King would have been a hybrid of Beckenbauer, Moore and Baresi if it wasn't for injuries...
Clever Fox Posted 12 April 2016 Posted 12 April 2016 I expect us to do it but it's not going to be easy. The pressure will really tell and be on us if we lose one game.
LanguedocFox Posted 12 April 2016 Posted 12 April 2016 I think we'll be lucky to avoid relegation. Just on the basis that that is what I always think, every season.
limeydale Posted 12 April 2016 Posted 12 April 2016 Voted Champions because We havn't lost to WH since Dec 2014We havn't lost to Swans since Oct 2014We havn't lost to Everton since Dec 2003We're even with Man u since Sep 2014 w1 t1 l1only losing record is against Chelsea since Aug 2014 w1 l2.Odds are we win
Livid Posted 12 April 2016 Posted 12 April 2016 I believe we should win it with 7 points clear and 5 to play but I refuse to say we will until the fat lady finally sings. I'm not cursing it so voted 2nd!
