Vardy creates more, puts in the running that helps open it up for other players like Mahrez (pretty difficult to double up on him like you'd have to to stop him if it just gives Vardy the freedom of the penalty area). I actually wouldn't be surprised if Vardy won the PFA award and Mahrez the Football Writers' one. I'm a member of the Football Writer's Association and have voted for Kante.

sdb Posted 13 April 2016 Posted 13 April 2016 Genuinely think our 3 are the top 3 there. Would have Alderweireld 4th and Payet 5th, then Kane. Ozil a tad lucky to be in the re over the season for me. Would personally go Kante, Vardy, Mahrez but see why RM should win it for sure.

I would love to see Vardy win it with his record breaking contribution, but the player who has been more important to us this season is actually Kante. Bloody hell its a tough decision

Team: De Gea Bellerin Alderweireld Morgan Cresswell Payet Kante Alli Mahrez Vardy Kane They always go 4-4-2 so I'd hope for that. Ideally I'd choose a realistic formation that gets the most deserving players in, which would be 3-5-2 for me. De Gea Alderweireld Huth Morgan Payet Kante Dembele or Drinkwater, hard to say which. One without the other doesn't work, that's why we're a team and a shining example of how a team works. If I'm pushed I say Mahrez because he gets me out of my seat eventhough Kante leaves me open-mouthed most games and Vardy embodies everything I want in a player playing for my club. LCFC Player of the Season, I may just abstain.
