I keep changing my mind now between Mahrez and Vardy.

If Vardy wins the league, breaks the consecutive record and finishes as top PL scorer it simply has to be him.

Re football writers award Henry Winter in the Times is strongly hinting that he'll be voting for Wes Morgan.

Isn't it the players voting for this though? There could be any number of other factors that come into their decision other than the fairytale angle or who deserves it most from a team perspective. If I was voting I might just vote for the player I found hardest to play against... almost certainly Kante.

Likely to be Mahrez. Nice to see Kante getting some real recognition here and in the press. To my mind Kante is THE reason players like Mahrez and Vardy have been able to cut loose. It takes 11 players to make a team, but Kante is the heart of the team.

So difficult..  You've got Vardy who is the complete hollywood story and a goal machine who works his socks off and sets the tone for our team. Then there is Mahrez who is the most skillful player in the Premiership and his stats are the best for an attacking player but then you have Kante who always gives a 9/10 performance no matter what game and runs more than anyone.

 

I honestly can't decide. Probably go to Mahrez just on his stats on directly influencing games.
