Babylon Posted 25 April 2016 Posted 25 April 2016 Can't believe how the long the process for deciding this has taken. They are only deciding on the relative vulgarity of a phrase that comprises TWO WORDS We asked for a hearing, you'd have known straight away had we not. Costa took about 3 weeks to sort.
st albans fox Posted 25 April 2016 Posted 25 April 2016 Prefer not to know before the spuds play later. Not that they need much help against the 'baggies on the beach '
ScouseFox Posted 25 April 2016 Posted 25 April 2016 remarkable that it's going to take over a week to decide what to do. what are they deciding? what are they even doing? it should've been decided last sunday night ffs. what if he was an arsenal or city or everton etc player who, since the incident, have already played two games? would they have been forced to make a decision quicker? would he have been banned for a game, then back in at the weekend and still be possibly banned again in the future?
Guest BlueBrett Posted 25 April 2016 Posted 25 April 2016 Given that everyone seems to be assuming a one match ban is inevitable, I'm concerned that the personal hearing may have been requested because Jamie and the club think there's a genuine possibility it could be 2. The thing about the Costa situation is, the likelihood is that the bulk of his profanity would have been in Spanish and therefore less jarring to the ref's ear. Vardy getting right in his face and calling him a **** may well have caused much more offense and it's just far more blatant. Hope I'm wrong.
mozartfox Posted 25 April 2016 Posted 25 April 2016 Interesting it is taking so long. If another ban surely they just say so now - why FFS drag it out into tomorrow? So may be a fine only and they do not want to effect Spuds morale before tonight's game as they will kick-off big time if Vardy is not sentenced to be hung.
iLikeFoxes Posted 25 April 2016 Posted 25 April 2016 I've always thought it was no dive. It was sticking a branch into the spokes of your brothers bicycle; Vardy was going down and I saw it for a penalty.Great pic! Sent from my SM-G900P using Tapatalk
americanfox Posted 25 April 2016 Posted 25 April 2016 EDIT: I should know better than to paste the first Twitter link I see...
foxfanazer Posted 25 April 2016 Posted 25 April 2016 Unverified, but HUGE if true. https://twitter.com/Jamie_Scoins/status/724640160596549633 What is? I can't see anything!!
americanfox Posted 25 April 2016 Posted 25 April 2016 Fake account that. And quickly deleted the tweet. Hah, what a twat.
AKCJ Posted 25 April 2016 Posted 25 April 2016 Out of interest, what did it say before it was deleted?
Ricey Posted 25 April 2016 Posted 25 April 2016 What is? I can't see anything!! Assuming it was a tweet from a fake journalist who 'works' for a fake website called Forest Echo News.
Finnaldo Posted 25 April 2016 Posted 25 April 2016 Out of interest, what did it say before it was deleted? No additional ban.
Matt Posted 25 April 2016 Posted 25 April 2016 I really do have a sneaky suspicion he might be getting away with just a fine, it's very frustrating it's dragging on yet another day though, why? For me, it's deliberation, in a way almost an admission Moss was shite so should they be abit more lenient, asking questions of themself and the referee in question. Do they have the bollocks to do that though?! Either way just get it over and done with one way or the other FFS.
americanfox Posted 25 April 2016 Posted 25 April 2016 For me, it's deliberation, in a way almost an admission Moss was shite so should they be abit more lenient, asking questions of themself and the referee in question. It's a lose-lose. Stick with precedent, and we are unfairly punished for Moss's abominable performance (and he wasn't assigned a match this week, so that implicitly says something, does it?). Let him go, and it cries of foul play to the media and Spurs fans.
melrose Posted 25 April 2016 Posted 25 April 2016 I've always thought it was no dive. It was sticking a branch into the spokes of your brothers bicycle; Vardy was going down and I saw it for a penalty. Great pic! Trouble is it was Vardy that stuck the branch into the spokes! He's done it a few times and got away with it! The lad knew what he was doing!

Ok in terms of punishing LCFC as a team/club it means fuck all, but at the end of the day it's nothing to do with the team/club, it's to do with Jamie Vardy. (Besides they've already charged the club for failing to control the players of which i'm assuming is a fine for the club?) Media and Spurs probably won't see a fine as a 'fair' outcome but it's still punishing Vardy whilst being lenient after an awful refereeing performance.
st albans fox Posted 25 April 2016 Posted 25 April 2016 forest echo news is a spoof account. I got caught out on the doping thing a few weeks ago It's a lose-lose. FantasticMrFox&Son Posted 25 April 2016 Posted 25 April 2016 Moss was the 4th official at the FA cup semi-final match Man Utd v Everton this week-end.
Number 6 Posted 25 April 2016 Posted 25 April 2016 People are talking about next weekend right? No fixture for Moss.

I meant next week, sorry. Didn't see him name on the list, while we get Michael Oliver.
jammie82uk Posted 25 April 2016 Posted 25 April 2016 Is it definitely not being announced today? Sky sports reporter outside wembley said they was hopeful for tonight but expect it to be tomorrow morning
SpinneyHillRanger Posted 25 April 2016 Posted 25 April 2016 vardy must have been told the verdict at the hearing. The procedure is the deliberate after the evidence has been presented and then they call you back in and give their verdict. under some circumstances they give it in writing at a later date but don't think this is one of those type of cases. Vardy should already know. Hopefully it will just be a massive fine, two game ban seems excessive for a couple of swear words, a non-yellow card and a foul on him in the penalty area.
