The only way Vardy will stand any small remote chance of not having his ban extended is purely pleading for forgiveness, any type of video evidence or attempt to excuse his actions will not work. We will see what happens

Can't see it happening myself but it will be great to see him back for the United match, if not we shall have to look at the positives and think at least he will be coming back fresh for the Everton match which for me is a much more must win game than United

the charge was announced in time to give Spurs a lift last Monday evening.

Assuming that the hearing is today (vards is down here anyway), I expect them to get the extra game info out in time for the spuds to get another lift.

Not conspiracy theory - just makes commonsense for the authorities to try and keep all the balls in the air as long as possible. who wants a league decided by game 36!

I'd be very surprised if he doesn't get a one game extension. Yesterday's game almost makes it easy for the FA. It'll have shown we can cope without Vardy and therefore it'll be easier to stick with the Costa precedent and prevent a backlash from Spurs as to favourable treatment if he were to get away with it. A real shame, really, especially if Spurs were to drop points tonight and we went into the United game with a chance to win the title.

I'd be happy with just one thing to go in our favour today.

 

Either no extended ban or West Brom getting something tonight, preferably the latter but one will do.

There will be a backlash from spurs whatever the outcome...if its one extra game they will campaign for two...if its no extra games they will go into meltdown.

If their campaign to ban Hazard for naughty talking is successful they are planning a campaign to have the FA change the rules so that 3 points are awarded to the team with the best passing accuracy rather than most goals.

The ideal would be a spurs win tonight, Vardy back for Sunday with Leicester beating United and then winning the title at home. Please.

For me the ideal outcome would be Vardy gets a Fine only, WBA get something tonight and Jon Moss gets a boil on his arse.

Not sure what campaign you are on about there chief.

The issue with Hazard and Fabregas is that they have to play both of us and are basically saying they will only turn up v us.

Christ some of you have got stick up your hole if people have an opinion
